We are 25 gifts away from unlocking $5k for our football program - If you haven’t given yet, today is the day. If you’ve already given, challenge a teammate, a classmate, a friend, or a fellow Cobber to join you. Every gift counts #togetherwewill

Class of 2026 long snapper @drew_uttech made the trip to Eau Claire Wisconsin to chase perfection!
Drew and I had the chance to meet at the Montana State specialists camp that I helped ran last summer and he was introduced to my teaching philosophies.
We finally got him to Eau Claire and it did not disappoint! After our initial assessment we noticed that Drew struggled with body control and ball speed. 2 things directly impacted by sequencing and an aggressive start.
After working through a handful of drills to get him to feel a more complete and controlled finish position we talked about the mentality it takes to be smooth and accelerated vs aggressive through the snap. This makes a HUGE difference when trying to snap a consistent and fast ball.
Drew made big strides and I’m excited to continue to help him chase perfection.
