My dad is about to be insufferable at the office today after the Riders won the Grey Cup.

This @CFL is taking forever to start because the air quality is bad. Meanwhile they have the fans out there with kids and infants just breathing it in for the last two hours.
Where are the updates for the status of this game? @SaskRoughrider @TSN_Sports fans all in the dark?!

Well, it wasn’t easy, but Trump did it.
He ended the several hundred year friendship between the US and Canada — our neighbor and closest ally.
Isolationism is a dumb idea, but going out of your way to get countries around the world to actually hate us is even stupider.

#OTD 31 years ago, the Blue Jays defeated the Phillies 15-14 in Game 4 of the 1993 World Series in the wildest postseason game I've ever watched.
Tony Fernandez had five RBIs for the Jays.
@ToddStottlemyre pitched with a bloody chin that he sustained sliding into third base.

On this day 44 years ago Terry Fox, a 21 year old Canadian who lost a leg to cancer, began an east to west cross-Canada run to raise money and awareness for cancer research. He ran the equivalent of a full marathon every day and made it 143 days and 5,373 km before he lost his battle with cancer

Today, we celebrate the 65th birthday of @sskroughriders legend Ray Elgaard … captured in classic form by a legend of a photographer — @leaderpost alum Bryan Schlosser — on Oct. 23, 1993. (Later that day, Joe Carter hit a World Series-winning home run.)
