So you are stealing taxpayers money, giving it to your wife and no one answers for it!? That’s what it is when you don’t answer to the people @MarkJCarney it’s THEFT. Do you even do anything as an entity to PROTECT CANADIANS ANYMORE @PBO_DPB? How about you @Nat_Div_RCMP?
Things that make you go Hmm! Liberals shut down debate on a motion to have Diana Fox Carney, Mark Carney's wife appear before the Fisheries and Oceans Committee to discuss her appointment as Canada's new "Oceans Envoy" and the $1.2 Billion plus tax dollars she's been given to do it. #cdnpoli This was the motion: That, given the recent appointment of Canada’s Ocean Envoy and Chair of the 12th Our Ocean Conference, and the Government of Canada’s recently announced $1.2 billion investment in ocean protection, the committee invite Canada’s Ocean Envoy to appear for no fewer than two hours, at the earliest opportunity, but no later than Friday, November 27, 2026, to discuss the Envoy’s mandate, priorities, and plans to advance Canada’s ocean conservation and fisheries interests, including preparations for the 2027 Our Ocean Conference, the government’s financial commitments, and the anticipated costs associated with hosting the conference; and that the Ocean Envoy be requested to provide the committee with a copy of the formal mandate, any associated terms of reference, and a breakdown of the anticipated costs of hosting the conference prior to the appearance.

At the Commons foreign affairs committee, @MichaelChongMP asked foreign affairs minister @melaniejoly why the Chinese diplomat threatening him and his family, and other MPs was still in Canada. The answer from Joly is embarassing to Canada.

This is a major vote of confidence in Pierre Poilievre. Cedric Lapointe, the former right hand man of Eric Duhaime - who just won big for the Conservatives in the Quebec election - is moving on to work with Poilievre in Ottawa. journaldequebec.com/2026/10/…

NEW - @BCFerries has fired CEO Nicolas Jimenez. The surprise move, described by the board as part of a "revitalization review," comes 2 days after the BC election in which @Dave_Eby - who had close ties to Jimenez - was defeated by @LDoerkson and the @Conservative_BC

Sex offenders, men who beat up women, and other serious violent criminals getting reduced sentences because of race. This is wrong. There is no excuse. PERIOD. Everyone should follow the same laws & do the same time for the same crime, regardless of race.

Waking up in Ontario to the good news for my BC friends. What a wild miscalculation from Eby and an epic victory for the BC Conservatives. Has that “stop the bleed” course feeling. Great work.
I am going to sleep now it's now 2am in Ottawa but I have to say this is the funniest political suicide I've ever seen in Canadian history, David Eby had a majority government and he just give it tot he Conservatives

I'm pretty sure if a conservative had done this the media would be on a full court press. Why haven't they asked the obvious questions? #cdnmedia

Can anyone answer these questions? How about the Commissioner? The Public Safety Minister? The Justice Minister? Rhonda Blackmore, Dwayne McDonald, and Dennis D. put their names on a report saying recruitment was collapsing in July 2023, correct? Did Ottawa push Rhonda Blackmore out because she told the public the truth about staffing shortages instead of covering for the board at NHQ? Rhonda Blackmore took shifts in cruisers to give overworked members a break, correct? Why did the Commissioner hide behind legal-liability excuses instead of backing a leader who supported her folks who needed it? Why does an executive board member view supporting his members as a “legal liability,” and a provincial commander view it as basic duty? Rhonda Blackmore built trusted relationships across Saskatchewan reserves and rural communities, correct? How do you justify the secrecy surrounding her removal when the people she served are demanding answers? The Commissioner claimed he wasn’t aware of any recruitment fallout from pulling Rhonda out of Saskatchewan, correct? Are you all equally blind to the damage done to divisional morale, or did you just want a commanding officer who wouldn't embarrass Ottawa? Can we see the video that made leadership squirm when it was brought up in committee?
