Kermit the Frog told this year’s graduates at the University of Maryland that “life is better when we leap together.”
The beloved Muppet and creation of the late Maryland graduate, Jim Henson, delivered the main address at the university’s commencement Thursday evening in College Park, Maryland.
Kermit told the graduates, if they were “willing to listen to a frog,” that it’s important to stay connected to their families, friends and, perhaps most importantly, their dreams.
“The truth is,” the Muppet said, “dreams are how we figure out where we want to go, and life is how we get there.”

The fact that people could have so much sympathy for diddy 18 year old daughters but not for the 19 year old Cassie that was contracted to a 10 album deal and than pursued and abused by a 36 y/o is baffling to me #DiddyTrial

Yall need to pay close attention to how the men in your lives are talking about this #DiddyTrial . Cassie IS the victim and that devil in human flesh is the predator. There’s no grey area, no “willing participant” BS, no devil’s advocate nothing!

Alex Fine made a great statement via Cassie’s lawyer about the narratives online about how he must feel sitting there listening to her testimony and how he saved her. He said that’s an insult to the years of painful work she did and that she saved herself.

80-yo Linwood Riddick just walked across the stage at South Carolina State with a BA in Music — decades after pausing college to serve in the military and navigate segregation. He kept his promise to finish what he started. No excuses. Just dedication. 💪🏿🎓

Feel free to call student occupation of a building disruptive, aggravating, etc. But for UCI leadership to label it as *violent* is insidious for a number of reasons (1/6)

A tenured UC Irvine professor (of global studies) is being arrested for protesting alongside students: “We cannot have a genocidal foreign policy in a democracy.”

UC Irvine just sent a mass alert about a protest turning “violent” on campus.
But when you view live footage at UCI, you just see a peaceful group of students.
You also see police on the rooftops threatening students with chemical weapons, tasers, batons, and rubber bullets.
At UC Irvine, hundreds turn out to demonstrate in support of Palestine ocregister.com/2024/04/25/at…

Today is one of those moments where we have to remember that the cops were not actually defunded in 2020. The ruling class actually doubled down on funding them, to repress us in moments like this.
