The colours aren't the best, but here's a map of % of years below decile 2 for 2000-2023. Jurien and Cape Leeuwin have spent 50% of the last 23 years decile 2 or below in May-Oct. Followed by Wyalkatchem, Lake Grace, Moora, Pingaring and Holt Rock. Best place to be is Walpole 16%

Heartfelt thanks to Graeme and Marcelle Stirling for giving their time freely to teach @UWA_students @UWAresearch staff, @DPIRDWA staff, and industry about identifying nematodes. Great collaboration between @UWAsoils and DPIRD. @theGRDC – at Perth, Western Australia
Enjoying cycling through UWA campus on my way to Soil Science. The gardens around The School of Indigenous Studies are looking particularly lovely! @UWAresearch @UWA_students – at Perth, Western Australia
Good to catch up the GRDC N Loss national project team. Today we visited Nigel Wilhelm & Luke Simpson’s field site on a Sodosol just outside of Adelaide. @theGRDC @IOA_UWA @UWAresearch
Best way to look at soil? Dig a pit. Enjoyed spending time with these good people collecting bulk density samples to a meter for the @theGRDC national N loss project. Appreciate @DPIRDWA Merredin crew for helping out. @UWAresearch @IOA_UWA @SoilsWest – at Merredin, Western Australia
In Dili this week to talk about soils, crops and biochar with MAF colleagues who are partners in our UWA-led project (AI-Com 2) funded by @ACIARAustralia. Here we are checking equipment in the MAF soils lab @UWAresearch @IOA_UWA @SoilsAdvocate
Very proud of these UWA Grads in Agriculture Science and Environmental Science. The future is bright for them and us! – at Perth, Western Australia
All four up-and-coming young scientists who presented at the 2023 Young Professionals in Agriculture Forum today were @UWAresearch-ers 🌟 Congratulations to Noel Fitzpatrick medallist @GeorgiaWelsh10, Charlize van der Mescht, Victoria Guthrie & @ChloeInAg uwa.edu.au/news/Article/2023…
Field trips with @UWA_students is the best part of teaching #soil #science at UWA! Big thanks to ENVT2236 students for their hard work & enthusiasm this weekend.
