Hey all, Im thinking of putting together a self published zine featuring interviews and images from Yorkshire based live music promoters from past and present etc - would anyone be interested in getting involved?? #livemusicyorkshire #livemussic #promoters
Exciting news..Ive just signed a contract from Routledge for a recent contributing chapter on pub rock in Leeds from the 70s/80s..it's been a couple of years in the making but hopefully share more details v soon!
Hello music friends I'm a little bit behind the times but does anybody know of any experimental, improv gig promoters? I've got a pal based over in NYC whos interested in playing a few shows over the summer in both the UK and Europe. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Absolutely gutted to hear about former bandcamp staff getting treating like this, big utter respect to them all for the years of hard graff. Let's hope for a better future space for independent music 🔥
Update on today's layoffs:
ALT Today, Epic Games’ sale of Bandcamp to Songtradr was closed and at least half of Bandcamp’s staff was laid off. This is heartbreaking. We love our jobs, the platform we’ve built, and the Bandcamp community. We’re glad we have our union — coworkers who have each other’s backs. We’ll be moving together to decide what our next steps are. On Wednesday we return to the bargaining table with Epic Games, and we’ll keep you updated. Love and solidarity to the whole Bandcamp community. Thank you for your support.

I’m putting together an archive of the no-audience underground and associated DIY, underground experimental / weirdo music.
Can you help?
I’m looking for: posters, flyers, zines, gig listings, ephemera etc. Scans / photos are ideal, no need for originals.
Heya, it's official I've passed my PhD, thanks again to my supervisors & examiners Dr Susan O'Shea and Dr Luke Yates.
Am very grateful for all the support and help from all my interviewees and anyone involved within the local music scene in Leeds both past and present 🧡💥
