This fine update brought to you by Bud Light, the Official Beer of the NFL nitter.gq/AdamSchefter/status/21…
NFL fined 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk $14,926 for engaging in an offensive demonstration Sunday vs. Miami. “Your imitation of chugging a beer constituted an offensive demonstration and could reasonably be construed as being in poor taste,” the NFL wrote in its fine letter. Juszczyk, nicknamed “Juice”, already has appealed the fine.

Robert Lewandowski has more followers than:
The Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls, White Sox, Caleb Williams, Pete Crow-Armstrong, and Connor Bedard all put together… if you doubled each their followers, and you’d still have a few million left over.

Paraguay goalkeeper Orlando Gill was briefly impeded by Germany's Waldemar Anton but contact in such circumstances is commonplace.
In real time, the referee saw nothing wrong and all the players were lined up for the restart when the VAR decided to recommend a review.
Players are entitled to their space on the field and getting in an opponent’s way is not an offence in itself.
In this context, there would have to be clear evidence that the block had a meaningful impact on the keeper’s ability to play or challenge for the ball.
Sure, you can build a thin case that Anton was guilty,
and VARs would not intervene if a free kick were awarded on field. But video review was introduced to correct obvious errors, not re-referee marginal calls.

Cheetahs are very shy animals. So some zoos give them support dogs like those for humans and it is the cutest thing ever.

In the recent friendly match between the Netherlands and Algeria, the Dutch players appeared with a special pennant made from assembled LEGO pieces, replacing the traditional match pennant.
This was part of a collaboration between the KNVB (Dutch Football Association) and LEGO in preparation for the 2026 World Cup. The partnership, announced earlier in 2026 and running through at least EURO 2028, focuses on encouraging play, creativity and movement among children and football fans through shared initiatives.
As part of the campaign leading into the FIFA World Cup 2026, one million free orange LEGO bricks are being distributed across the Netherlands on June 3 at LEGO stores, Intertoys and Dreamland locations. Fans are invited to build items supporting the Oranje team and share their creations, with the activation tied to the #NEDALG event.
