The argument behind the increase in Maryland vehicle registration fees is fair. I don’t like it either. HOWEVER, I implore you to look into why these changes were made and understand how the Maryland General Assembly works. The MGA proposed legislation for this increase AKA your elected representatives per district and he signed the bill into law THIS WHY LOCAL ELECTIONS MATTER. If you do not like it, then participate in local elections by what? VOTING! Find out who your state representative is and bring them up on charges. Attend the town halls. Make your voices heard. We sit around and complain yet remain misinformed everytime election season rolls around THAT IS WHY, “I’m not voting” doesn’t work for me. At minimum, help initiate the change you want to see. Dan Cox is still not the right choice for Maryland at this time. PERIOD!
