Which makes the way it was passed around afterward pretty fucking misleading. A fan requested a quote, and somewhere along the repost chain it became “Nick chose this line for Aeon.” Then came the marriage confirmation and DLC theories. Quite a journey for a personalized autograph.
And now we’re asking whether he chose the exclamation mark? 😭 When the quote stops being evidence, apparently the punctuation gets promoted.
The person who paid for the autograph clarified that they requested it... when asked, of course. Don’t send them shit. My criticism is aimed at the people who shared it afterward as some cryptic revelation while leaving out the context that would spoil their big “confirmation.”
Enjoy the autograph. Enjoy your ship. But if your evidence depends on leaving out who requested the words, your argument has a problem.
This clears up Nick’s quote. It doesn’t tell us who chose Lily’s, and I’m not filling that gap with something convenient. That’s the whole fucking point.
