Ideally, a rapist’s religion or name shouldn’t matter, rape is a crime, and rapists should be seen as rapists.
But unfortunately, we don’t live in that ideal society. When a Muslim is accused, their name and religion are deliberately emphasized to create a narrative that only Muslims commit crimes. Meanwhile, when the accused is not Muslim, those details are conveniently omitted.
This selective reporting isn’t accidental, it’s a tool to brainwash people into believing that only Muslims commit such crimes. To make matters worse, there are even cases where fake Muslim names are spread to stoke hatred.
In such a distorted environment, highlighting the real names and identities of all accused becomes essential to expose the double standards and show the reality.

Rukhsana urf Roshni (18) was killed inside her own room. Accused Surjeet (20) allegedly entered her home on Tuesday night, went to the second floor by stairs, locked the door and attacked her with a knife. Her neck was nearly cut through. She died on the spot.
Surjeet was allegedly pressuring her to run away with him. Roshni refused. Her family had also fixed her marriage elsewhere. Her mother says he had threatened the family several times after returning from Mumbai.
Villagers heard her screams, broke down the door, and found her in a pool of blood. Surjeet tried to escape but was caught and beaten. Police took him into custody.
Since the victim and the accused belong to different communities, police from three stations have been deployed in the village as a precaution.

When the accused are Muslim, I’ve often seen CM @himantabiswa or the police prominently publicise their names and/or photographs. Why does the same transparency appear to disappear when the accused are associated with right wing groups?
In this case, 13 accused were arrested and later granted bail. Later, Four more (Sumit Kumar Das, Arnab Kumar Roy, Priyanshu Paul and Priyanshu Das) were arrested.
Yet I haven’t seen the CM or the police highlight their names or publish their photographs on their official handles. Nor have I seen them disclose the BNS sections invoked against them.
If the accused were granted bail almost immediately, the police should clarify exactly which sections they were booked under.

This is one of the most disgusting scenes I have seen in a while.
A humble Muslim delivery man shows up to do work at this Hindu woman's house in India. His azan app goes off at the prayer time. She proceeds to deliver him a humiliating lecture ON VIDEO and posts it to the whole world.
She yells at him that it's her Hindu festival today and that his azan went off, as if he did it on purpose. The service sector man hangs his head, apologizes repeatedly, and she harangues him ON VIDEO like a vile breed of creature unknown to humanity - then she yells at him "Stop this dominance!"
She yells at him for having consumed tobacco before arrival (what, now you're going to discipline every delivery guy for his personal habits??) She claims that the azan is all about dominance: when he starts to protest, she says "I'm a Kashmiri Pandit, I know Urdu, I know all about this."
This kind of genocidally hateful person apparently now constitutes a majority of India and if I were to say what should happen to her, I would be banned. This video is harassment and bullying and should be taken down. May God comfort your heart, Khalid, we stand with you. This is absolutely wrong and you do not deserve any of this garbage.
