1. Yes, that is an average pay rate of a senior concept artist... for a month.
2. If I am paying this amount, she has to be working 8hours a day, 5 days a week, FOR ME.

There is a reason why freelance artists charge less than an office worker, because they get freedom. They get to CHOOSE what projects to take on and what they can reject. You work on THEIR terms.

The Epic Games CEO claims Valve has “held gaming back for years” by locking PC games into Steamworks’ ecosystem.
Sweeney argues that Steam’s social features make it harder for players on PC to communicate cross-platform while also criticizing Steam’s 30% cut.
However, that claim isn’t completely accurate. Valve’s Steam Datagram Relay can also be used across other platforms.
