It is frankly ludicrous the Government has spent taxpayers’ money on producing a publication that should never have been required in the first place. It is no wonder the public, quite rightly, are despairing at this Government’s priorities.

If you've voted for lower council tax, Andy Burnham is trying to force tax rises on you anyway.
He says that he cares about local democracy - but clearly only when people vote the way he wants them to.

The Labour Government promised to tread more lightly on our lives when it came to power in 2024.
That was a lie.
Look at what it has done.

Another ‘conspiracy theory’ about the government’s complicity in Channel migrant crossings has come true…Home Office contractors offering THOUSANDS of pounds more to landlords to house illegal migrants. One landlord would be £32k-a-year better off if he accepted illegals. Racket

Yesterday, I voted against the Government's disgraceful plan to open up Northern Ireland veterans to lawfare, decades after their service.
These brave men risked their lives to keep us safe from terrorism. The least that their Government can do is have their backs.

Labour don't believe that money you earn, or the property that you own, is really yours.
If you leave property empty for 6 months, they'll let councils steal it.
If you put money aside for your pension, they'll decide how it's invested.
And now they're after your business.

This is a truly disgusting policy & an attack on small family businesses… the lifeblood of the Uk. The government is systematically removing all aspiration
Having already imposed new inheritance tax rules that threaten the survival of family businesses passed down in death, the Government is now threatening further taxes that could force their ‘extinction’ when passed from one generation to the next during their owners’ lifetimes.
For decades, these family-run businesses have been the lifeblood of towns & villages across Britain - yet this Government seems determined to make it harder for them to survive, whichever way they are passed on.
This risks more wanton destruction of businesses built through generations of hard work, dedication, & loving care by families who have devoted their lives to serving their communities.

More than 100 councils house more asylum seekers than homeless people.
And 19 of those councils house *at least ten times as many*.
Far too many councils are putting illegal migrants, who've broken into our country, ahead of our own citizens.

A Christian woman has pleaded not guilty after being charged for silently praying outside an abortion facility in Birmingham.
Isabel Vaughan-Spruce is the first person to face criminal charges under the UK’s buffer-zone legislation, which came into force in October 2024. She appeared at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court for a preliminary hearing.
The law prohibits people from influencing anyone’s decision to “access, provide or facilitate the provision of abortion services” within 150 metres of an abortion facility. It is a law that has also been strongly criticised by the Trump White House.
Her lawyers argue that Ms Vaughan-Spruce was “singled out” and that the case is “incompatible” with her fundamental human rights. They say that, if her pro-life beliefs were not known, her presence in the buffer zone would not have been considered a criminal offence.
The lawyers also argue that Parliament did not intend to “criminalise conduct of this kind” and that the legislation cannot interfere with the “absolute rights to freedom of thought and to hold a particular religious belief”.
Ms Vaughan-Spruce has pleaded not guilty to all five charges.

Parents should be able to trust that schools are places of learning, not political activism.
Too often third-party materials, assemblies & lesson plans are being used to push political agendas on our children.
This erodes standards & we would put a stop to it. That’s why last week I launched Our Pledge to Parents. Our promise to keep politics out of the classroom, but never our values.
