๐—˜๐˜…๐—ผ๐—ฑ๐˜‚๐˜€ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿญ:๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฎโ€“๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฑ does not establish a ban on abortion. The ancient Hebrew consonantal text (without later vowel points) describes men fighting who strike a pregnant woman so that โ€œher children come outโ€ (yatsa yeladeyha). If there is no further โ€œharmโ€ (ason), the offender pays a fine; only if harm occurs does the law of retaliation apply. Most scholars read the โ€œharmโ€ as injury to the woman, not as the death of a fetus treated as a full legal person. The scenario is accidental injury during a brawl, not a deliberate medical procedure, and the text reflects the limited medical categories of its time rather than a modern distinction between miscarriage and premature live birth. Claims that โ€œGod/Yahweh bans abortionโ€ therefore rest on later interpretive traditions, not on a clear prohibition in the original Hebrew of this passage. ๐—•๐—ถ๐—ฏ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ด๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ฝ๐—ต๐˜† 1. ๐—˜๐—น๐—น๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด๐˜๐—ผ๐—ป, ๐—๐—ผ๐—ต๐—ป. โ€œMiscarriage or Premature Birth?โ€ The Bible Translator 37, no. 3 (1986): 334โ€“337. 2. ๐—๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ธ๐˜€๐—ผ๐—ป, ๐—•๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ ๐—ฆ. โ€œThe Problem of Exodus 21:22โ€“5 (Ius Talionis).โ€ In Essays in Jewish and Comparative Legal History, 75โ€“107. The Bible never bans abortion. Not once. The only abortion procedure in the entire Bible is in Numbers 5, performed by a priest, in God's own law, on a wife whose husband merely suspected her. And Exodus 21 settles the value question: cause a miscarriage, you pay a fine. Kill the woman, you die. God priced them differently. So when they tell you "life begins at conception, the Bible says so," ask for the verse. They don't have one. They have a slogan their church handed them. ~TExB

This passage comes from Hitlerโ€™s Reichstag speech of 30 January 1939. In the surrounding context he sarcastically offers to โ€œexportโ€ Jews to the democracies that publicly expressed sympathy for them while refusing to accept large-scale immigration.
The irony here of course is that Ben Shapiro is literally using 1:1 the 1930s National Socialist train of thought and logic with regards to the Jews.

Germany and the German taxpayer has been the piggy bank of Europe since the introduction of the EURO. The post Maastricht 92 EU might have been good for German multinational cooperations but it was very bad for the German citizens. Time to end this.
There's a fantasy in Italy and Spain that Germany's TARGET2 claims aren't real. They're very real. They're subsidized loans from Germany that finance a standard of living in Italy and Spain that's artificially and unsustainably high. The AfD will end this. robinjbrooks.substack.com/p/โ€ฆ

The flood narrative in the Hebrew Bible (Genesis 6โ€“9) adapts an older Mesopotamian tradition of a universal deluge and a boat that preserves human and animal life. That tradition is preserved in cuneiform texts from ancient Mesopotamia, most famously the flood episode in the Epic of Gilgamesh (Tablet XI, featuring Utnapishtim) and the earlier Atrahasis Epic, as well as Sumerian flood stories. These Mesopotamian accounts predate the biblical version by many centuries. The biblical form of the story was shaped during the composition and redaction of the Pentateuch. While the precise stages of that process remain debated, the core flood account belongs to the broader stream of ancient Near Eastern literature that circulated in the region long before the Hellenistic period. It is not the product of Hasmonean-era scribes in the second century BCE; the Hasmonean period is too late for the primary literary formation of the Genesis narrative. Later scribal activity under the Hasmoneans (and earlier) involved copying, minor updating, and transmission of already-existing texts, not the original borrowing of the flood story from cuneiform archives. In short: the Hebrew Bibleโ€™s Noah story is a later, monotheistic reworking of a much older Mesopotamian flood tradition, not a second-century BCE invention by Hasmonean scribes.
