40 tabs, 4 windows, and the one you need is a favicon you can't read. TabNow: press Alt+E (Cmd+E on Mac), type a few letters, hit Enter. You're there. Searches bookmarks and history too. Free, open source, now in the Chrome and Edge stores.

Pigmo is free with no time limit: pick colors, save them, grab a page's whole palette. No account, and your colors stay in your browser, on this device. Pro is 19 EUR once, no subscription, and adds the exports: CSS variables, a Tailwind theme, JSON, PNG.

DietrichGebert/ponytail makes your agent reuse whats in the repo before writing new code their date picker demo just reuses Input and the browser picker, 10 lines instead of 335 all the numbers are from their own benchmark though...

nobody opens the time tracker during the day. the hours get typed in later, from memory, and some never make it in now a consultant can type "log 3 hours on severn yesterday, code review" into claude code and the entry is booked

most picker extensions read the CSS value. on a button with 40% opacity that gives you the color before it is blended. inside a canvas (Figma, Canva, a map) they get nothing at all. Pigmo reads the pixel that is actually on screen.

a site's palette is not one color. it's the 6 to 8 colors the whole page is built from. Pigmo reads the page's own styles, ranks each color by how much of the page it covers, and tells you where it is used: header, buttons, text.
