Here’s all of the animated TV series and projects I worked on as a Storyboard Artist in the go-go ‘90s. Started my professional animation career with the X-Men in 1993. Ended it with the Avengers in 2000. From there I moved permanently onto licensing gigs as an illustrator.

New favorite PT flavor. 🙌

Definitely a good Godzilla toy day.

Delivery 📦 BigBadToyStore loot. Kaiju and Retro Hologram Warriors. 🙌 @BigBadToyStore

Just saw Walmart’s new toy themed Christmas season shopping commercial during NFL game…and it’s very good. Really nice marketing featuring the toys of LEGO (Star Wars), Mattel (K-pop DH, Barbie and Buzz Lightyear), Hasbro (Spidey). The kind of marketing the toy industry needs.

Delivery 📦 Hot Toys ESB Han. 🙌

The Mighty Max toys are fun to find in the wild but I’m always shocked by the current values. Well over a hundred for some of those basic carded tiny sets. 🤯

Friday. Drink and draw.

Spoils of my vintage shopping run today. Old fantasy, tv, movie and sci-fi paperbacks from the ‘60s to early’80s. Great cover art by Frazetta, Boris and even Neal Adams. Most look unread.

Impressive Mountain Dew selection at this comic shop as well. Heh

Next stop. Here there be Gods & Monsters.

Already enjoying this Patriots/Bears game tonight because it seems like half of that Chicago stadium is full of Mike Ditka tribute cosplayers. And it’s awesome.

My pre order routine for Hasbro has evaporated so far for ‘27 product releases across all brands. Oh, they will definitely get me eventually with the right character or some SW 50th Anniversary stuff but my new attitude is: “I can wait for the price cuts in most cases.”.

Sure feels like the video game industry has been marching over a cliff in the past year.

Mattel is getting so much of my toy monies in January. And probably all next year. Bring it.

No vendor has to ever worry about selling a Batman figure. Retail history proves he’s not only evergreen, everyone has a favorite version. Collectors may complain but the reality is they can sell Batman and Spidey all day, every day.
