While performing neck dissection ICA can be encountered looping posterior to IJV. It can be confused with the lymph node. If not cautious injury to ICA is eminent.
WLE with Left #SND I-IV and primary closure for #carcinomatongue.
It’s been a hectic week! Handled a total thyroidectomy, two total laryngectomies, two tongue carcinoma cases, and one case of CSF rhinorrhea.
For a surgeon, success is when colleagues trust you enough to be your patient.

FB (kidney bean) in trachea blocking the Carina in a 13 months baby. Received seven cycles of CPR. Had no choice than to proceed with rigid #bronchoscopy and removed it. Credit to all who were involved in resuscitation and Mx (#ER, #anesthesiologist, #pediatrician, #nurses).
What an idea. One of my patients, following total laryngectomy, using finger sleeves for phonation.
