Genuinely how to people who run small and medium businesses keep up with their tech? Or do they just hope that it will keep working?

Gold! Love the Brando jacket. I've still got one of those in a cupboard somewhere. Its weathered and ripped but there is no way I'm throwing it out!

In another clip from the recent Tech for Humans podcast with Robby Russell, we talk about the concept of Makers or Menders and its influence on Robby, why he prefers working on maintaining projects as opposed to starting new ones, and the hit and miss of a new application. Politics is irrelevant- it’s an insane action done by a very unwell person.

Pretty standard for a hyper-car. They aren’t built for practcality

It’s unfortunate that they think the microwave is the only thing will ever need to cook with

Micromorts- I love that word! Did you just coin that or was it somewhere else?

What did you migrate to?

Glad we could sort those out once and for all. JFK next time?

This week I spoke with @robbyrussell on the Tech for Humans podcast. You might know Robby as the creator of @ohmyzsh , or through @planetargon and his podcasts (or through his sticker empire). In fact, Robby is one of the best known voices in the Ruby community. Hot off his keynote from Rails World a few weeks ago, Robby talks about his process to write that keynote. We also talked about running an agency, supporting open source, helping junior developers learn, and what music has to do with all of this. Plenty here for developers and the people leading them! Yeah that is definitely a barrier. Have you considered a dji osmo pocket 4 - they are excellent quality, very versatile, and probably half the price.

Can confirm - Robbie looks great on camera

Canon EOSR10. I highly recommend a DSLR for professional webcam. Costs a little more and there is a bit more set up but worth the effort. The smaller webcams fall down on small sensors and insufficient lenses. Makes all the difference.

Some thoughts on a few of the things that Vibe Coders might miss. Full video here: youtu.be/sCwhvmlpJ7Q What other things do vibe coders not even realise that they don't know (and probably should)?

Sounds like every flight needs a full time IT manager. And to think they said AI would take away out jobs
