Three children and a teacher were killed by a gunman at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon before the attack was stopped. The man who stopped it was Kaylub Giamanco, a father who had two daughters inside the school at the time. He did not wait. He went in armed and confronted the gunman, preventing the death toll from climbing further.
