We welcomed Tim McKenna from Every Action has Consequences’ charity who shared the experience of his brother, Adam who was sadly killed on a night out in Blackburn with a single punch with our Year 7 pupils. Thank you @eahconsequences

Yesterday Tim from @eahconsequences came in to speak to Year 5&6. We then used the education pack and thought about resolving conflict, managing emotions and how to be a good friend. Thank you Tim 💙 @RomeroCAT1 @BCPP__ @RCSalfordEd

Yesterday, we had the privilege of attending the 'Every Action has Consequences' event to discuss the work of the VRN. The charity, founded by Pat & Dave after the tragic loss of their son Adam, continues to raise awareness & prevent violence through education. @eahconsequences

Thank you @eahconsequences for delivering a hard hitting presentation on Adam’s story. Our pupils were left thinking about personal and group responsibility.

To note re: extra 20K cops: - it’s less than the no. cut since 2010 - doesn’t solve loss of police staff - doesn’t solve loss of dogs/horses etc - doesn’t solve loss of experience - doesn’t address cuts in other public services - will take time So much more needed than the 20K...
