To PTI fans & trolls: I do condemn the theft of PTI’s mandate & its leader’s imprisonment. But popularity isn’t people-centred politics! Mobilising around a “charismatic leader” differs from building institutions through which people exercise power! My point is about the latter.

Imran Khan’s sisters used to reach the jail every Tuesday to meet IK but the meetings were always denied. When they got arrested, IK’s cousin started reaching jail to meet him & he got arrested too. Now it’s his brother in law demanding to meet him & soon he will be arrested too.
