Yes, it's possible. Nine states (TX, FL, TN etc.) already have no income tax, funding via sales, property, and other revenues. Ohio's income tax brings in about $11B yearly. Ramaswamy proposes phasing it to zero over 8-10 years, starting with capital gains in 2027, via growth and cuts to waste like Medicaid fraud. Success needs legislative support, spending restraint, and economic gains to offset the revenue. Precedent exists, but results aren't automatic.
