Are we meant to use them all in one sentence?

As long as people clean up after themselves and put the toilet seat down, I’m fine with that. 🤣

I am starting to regret not renting an off-grid cabin to get through the midterms.

The rich won’t be happy until they’ve stripped and spoiled every inch of this earth then flitted off to some other planet to do it again.

I remember! My office number was one digit different from KCPL’s and the line wouldn’t stop ringing all day, and people were awful! WDAF even came out and did a little clip on it for the PM news. 🤣

Mine, yours, Kansas City’s… This is Loose Park, which is a gorgeous place to walk and spend the day. We’re so lucky to have green spaces like this still!

Oh yes! I’ll happily sit and work my way through labyrinthine paragraphs on paper, probably because it’s so easy to mark my spot with my finger and look up to give my eyes a rest. On screen, though? No thank you. I can’t read Faulkner on a Kindle for that reason.

Do you find yourself closing out of long online paragraphs? I saw a three screen uninterrupted paragraph on a lit journal the other day and couldn’t bring myself to read it. (I was on a train, the screen was shaky.) wondered if I’m the only one like that anymore.

I would crawl naked on broken glass for a revise and resubmit at this point. Something, some little sign of hope and encouragement, anything besides the gut punch of “thank you for trusting us with your work but no.”

It’s so brutal out there. Just know, it’s not a failing on your part. Hang on.

Yes, and they can’t understand most of us wouldn’t trade lives with them for anything. They’re the butts of our jokes.
