🚨 ACTOR DONDRE WHITFIELD WEIGHS IN ON THE COLIN KAEPERNICK & JAY-Z SITUATION — AND HE DIDN’T HOLD BACK! 👀 During a recent interview on the TFU podcast, actor Dondre Whitfield shared his thoughts on the ongoing Colin Kaepernick and Jay-Z situation, questioning why people are so surprised by the allegations Colin has raised. Whitfield essentially argued that people shouldn’t find it so difficult to believe that someone who has allegedly contributed to destructive behavior in the Black community could also engage in actions that undermine a movement intended to help that same community. 🗣️ DONDRE WHITFIELD: “You can’t believe that a person who has sold drugs to our people, which ultimately kills people, wouldn’t do something to subvert a movement which kills your people? You don’t believe that? That’s crazy.” He went on to make a bigger point about the importance of recognizing that just because someone looks like us doesn’t necessarily mean they have our best interests at heart. ➡️ Whitfield also referenced the current political climate, arguing that people need to pay closer attention to the difference between those who look like them and those who actually live like them. 👀 This is an interesting perspective because the Colin Kaepernick and Jay-Z situation continues to raise bigger questions about trust, representation, accountability, and who actually has the community’s best interests at heart.
