My favorite post-election takes last week were from @BridgetPhetasy and @andrewklavan. Despite the election results, we keep up the good work and laugh while doing it.
As someone who was the target of a Salon blog back in early 2000s, I'm not sorry to see them go.

Wishing the very best, today, to all USA 🇺🇸 citizens as they vote.
PLEASE vote YES on initiatives in your state that protect #TitleIX and keep women’s and girls’ sports female-only.

We’re not moving forward when just 1.4% of Harrisburg High School students scored proficient in math.
Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed and we can help students in Harrisburg and Philadelphia and elsewhere by opting Pennsylvania into the federal scholarship tax credit.
Please opt PA in.

I’d add:
- Crush small business (by mandating $15 or more minimum wage).
- Kill more unborn babies (by “codifying” abortion, could mean 20,000 more abortions in PA by 2030.)
- Mess with mental health (by commercializing weed).
Vote accordingly.

Thank you @holly_berre. We have known for 5 years that we had the votes to pass our bills out of the House. We did it with HB 972 under Gov. Wolf, who vetoed the people’s voice. Now Shapiro and House leadership have kept the vote from the House floor hurting thousands of girls
PUT IT ON THE RECORD — THE RESULTS ARE IN.
We set out to find out where Pennsylvania House members stand on defending girls’ sports and sex-based spaces.
We called. We emailed. We followed up. We reviewed public statements and legislative records.
Now Pennsylvanians have the results:
🔴🔵 87 SUPPORT protecting girls’ sports and spaces
— 85 Republicans
— 2 Democrats
🔵 63 DO NOT SUPPORT - All Democrats
⚪ 53 did not respond or did not establish a position
That is 203 Pennsylvania House members accounted for.
No guessing.
No assumptions.
Put it on the record.

Not a moderate. Vote Republican. That's the common sense vote in Pennsylvania.
I have a friend who is disabled, lives alone, and needs home health care through Medicaid. Her ability to receive services is harmed by fraudsters like these.
Ram Chhetri came to the US as a refugee, but this might be worst day of his life: It's the moment he realizes the $80k-$160k/year salary he's bilked from Medicaid for no-show work is coming to an end because @realdailywire caught the truth on camera.
We conducted months of surveillance that shows why "home care aide" is now the *most common job* in states like NY, CA, MN, and PA: Because a large part of those jobs are unambiguous Medicaid fraud.
Thanks to home care, Bhutanese refugees now make more money than actual PA families. The state doesn't just look the other way, but helps them get away with it. Converting federal health dollars into a universal basic income for certain communities relieves the financial burden they place on the state.
The scammers easily deceive the feds' woefully broken monitoring system. You'll see Ram pull into a driveway for 2 minutes in the morning, then 2 minutes in the evening. He clocks in and out of his shift from the right place, and the GPS system doesn't notice that he goes home in between.
$20 an hour doesn't sound like much, but at 77 hours a week, it's $80k–and it's easy to bill huge hours when you don't actually have to work them. And that's just for the low-level guys in this scheme.

“It is especially concerning to see a government workgroup discussing pastors and faith leaders as instruments for changing the behavior of their congregations,” @MichaelGeer told @realDailyWire. “Churches are not an extension of the government’s public-health apparatus, and pastors should never be treated as tools for advancing the policy objectives of the state.”

Don't let Josh Shapiro and the Democrats gain a Trifecta here in PA. Don't California our Pennsylvania.
“The reason why we’re adding this in more strong wording is because people refused to allow the Department of Health to enter their residences in the past,” stated Theresa Kash, a Department of Health policy specialist, after giving a presentation on the proposal.
Neil Mahalingam, assistant chief counsel for the Department of Health, said the regulatory changes gave the agency the authority to access “basically any property.”
“We provide more specific language in there, where it provides a general basis for the department to do investigations and to access a variety of properties, basically any property to complete the investigation,” Mahalingam stated at the meeting.

The future of Pennsylvania is in your hands. VOTE!
Pennsylvania is just one election away from a dramatically different future.
Four years ago, Democrats took control of the Pennsylvania House by just one vote. And that slim majority has had a major impact on what legislation moves forward.
Consider House Bill 1200, which passed the House by a single vote and would legalize and commercialize recreational marijuana in Pennsylvania.
House Bill 300, the so-called "Fairness Act", would expand nondiscrimination protections based on sexual orientation and gender identity, threatening our religious liberty and girls’ private spaces like bathrooms and locker rooms.
And House Bill 1957 would have enshrined abortion in our Commonwealth’s constitution, effectively allowing abortion until birth and forcing taxpayers to pay for elective abortions.
These proposals have not become law. The Republican-led Senate has stopped many of them.
But if control of the Senate changes this November, the balance of power in Harrisburg changes too. It would give Democrats a complete trifecta and a smooth runway for massive ideological changes that will negatively affect you and your friends and family.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd. Every seat matters. Every vote matters.
Make a plan to vote and encourage your friends and family to do the same.
Pennsylvania’s future is on the line. Don’t sit this one out.

Thank you for your work on this, @holly_berre and @luce_lexi !! Know the record. Vote accordingly. For girls' sports.
On January 7, 2026, Republican lawmakers launched the Defending Our Daughters campaign and publicly stood behind legislation addressing girls’ and women’s sports.
Nearly ten months later, Pennsylvanians should remember who was willing to put their name—and their voice—on the record.
Every one of the 55 PA House members who sponsored or co-sponsored HB 158 and/or HB 1849 is a Republican.
All 55.
@luce_lexi and I are now calling Pennsylvania House Representatives AND their challengers asking them directly where they stand on women’s sports and sex-separated spaces.
To date, not one Democratic House member has returned our calls or emails with a response to this current outreach.
That silence is incredibly disappointing on an issue that national polling has shown to be close to 80/20.
Meanwhile, Republican House members have signed their names to legislation and spoken publicly about where they stand.
Stay through the end of this video and read the entire roster.
55 House sponsors/co-sponsors.
55 Republicans.
No guessing. No assumptions. Put it on the record.
REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER — KNOW THE RECORD.
These are the people NOT to vote for. Unless you like socialism.

Governor, you can say "abortion is health care" all day and it won't alter the fact from which you wish to distract us, namely, that abortion is deliberately killing a living member of the human species--a human being and as such a bearer of profound, inherent, and equal dignity.
One mom stood up and protected her daughter and now the library is going to single user restrooms. This is the way. Speak up.
BIG SCANDAL UNFOLDING AT PUBLIC LIBRARY in PA
Man pretending to be a woman tried entering women's restroom with a 5yo girl inside.
A mother BLOCKED him from entering.
Guess who the library defended... the MAN!

If the @PaHouseDems and @GovernorShapiro got their way - all libraries would be forced to open up the girls' bathrooms to trans-identifying males.
