🚀 Microsoft built the operating system for the PC era. @ElastosInfo is building the operating system for the Internet era.
The next technological revolution is not just about AI. It’s about securing the entire digital world in which AI, applications, data, and global commerce operate.
🌐 ElastOS is positioning itself to become the OS of the Internet a new foundation for digital sovereignty, secure applications, personal data ownership, and a decentralized future.
If this vision becomes reality, the Elastos story could surpass Microsoft's in both technological impact and investment returns.
@Microsoft transformed computing. Elastos has the ambition to transform the Internet itself.
And if elastos:native becomes a core asset powering that transformation, today's valuation could look insignificant in hindsight.
The world is only beginning to understand what is being built.
The Internet needs a new foundation. Elastos is building it.

History Is Made by a Series of Accidents
I first encountered the Lenovo lab in 1983. There were only five or six people, and the atmosphere felt bleak. I believed I was fortunate to have the chance to pursue my dream in the US. The company was founded in 1984 three months after I left.
I joined the UIUC-NCSA lab in 1987 with a similarly small group, largely because my visa status blocked me from a summer internship at Bell Labs. I paid little attention to the first client-server programs my colleagues and I wrote and gained little insight into their significance. The browser emerged four years later in 1991, built on the network we had started.
I entered the Microsoft IE team in 1995 when it had just eight engineers. My goal was to invent an operating system, not a browser, and I missed the full surge of the World Wide Web.
In 2000, I founded Kortide in China to develop Elastos, yet I entirely missed the Chinese economic boom as the Internet took off. During that same period, companies such as Tencent, Alibaba, Sohu, and Baidu—many of the major private-sector IT firms—were founded a couple year earlier or later.
All of us here in the Telegram group know the stories of the launch of the Elastos SmartWeb initiative in 2017, now called the Elastos World Computer: so many dreams and setbacks, from regulatory pressure by the two superpowers to the crypto winters.
Looking back, I doubt that five to ten naive youngsters could have convinced the world they were onto something so vast. Some, if not all, lacked belief in their own work—clearly, that was me, more than once.
When a paradigm shift occurs, whether recognized or not, no one can halt the underlying avalanche. All we can do is get the first few rocks rolling.

🌐 The internet needs a new foundation.
As digital infrastructure faces growing security challenges, @ElastosInfo is building a decentralized alternative designed to give users greater control over their digital identities, data, and online interactions. 🛡️
At the heart of this vision is ElastOS and the broader Elastos ecosystem.
⚡ $ELA is the native token of ElastOS, powering its ecosystem and supporting its long-term vision.
As decentralized infrastructure gains adoption, $ELA deserves a closer look. A $10,000 price target remains speculative, but the opportunity lies in understanding the technology before mainstream attention arrives.
🚨 DON'T WAIT FOR THE WORLD TO DISCOVER IT. DO YOUR RESEARCH. UNDERSTAND THE TECHNOLOGY. POSITION YOURSELF AHEAD OF THE CURVE.
The next generation of the internet is being built now.
ElastOS. Decentralized infrastructure. A new internet vision. $ELA. 🚀🔥
Are you researching ElastOS before the crowd?

A fundamental difference in trustworthy computing.
A normal app today has a direct door to the internet, a window for the ads, another for the updates, meaning every app's security issue multiplies as AI agents grow, find and exploit, how many apps do you have on your phone right now?
What ElastOS is being built toward, a locked room for each app, one main door and a building manager who answers to you. That's @chen2rong2 design.
A cloud app:
1. Lives on someone else's computer
2. Keeps its own doors to the internet
3. Changes when they decide
An ElastOS capsule:
1. A packaged app
2. Running on your own machine, under your runtime
3. Being built to go out through one main door
Same app idea. Different owner and authority.
On your laptop, nothing touches your files unless you say so, your operating system is the referee. Online, every app takes what it wants, and more of them get hacked every week.
The internet never got a referee that works for you. ElastOS is building the internet OS, thE Last OS. AI agents make it urgent.

You've handed out thousands of keys to your whole house without realising it.
Every room should have its own lock, and only you control who gets in.
Secure the individual, and the institution follows. Time to change the locks.
Last week researchers showed one hidden comment on a GitHub issue could steer an AI coding agent into leaking its secrets.
Nothing was cracked. The secrets were just sitting there. A leak needs a way out. In the ElastOS, you can end an AI service's internet access in one click.

how it then connects to others, what we are building is so meaningful for the digital economy, all MIT and opensourced so no politics and for society, it takes time for people to understand this is the only way, then more help, and it gets adopted

Now see from the video ElastOS runtime code (10k lines of code) being directly embedded on the chip itself.
We are witnessing the creative destruction of the internet due to its architecture, what rises from it is a new network operating system to protect all at the most fundamental level.
Elastos retweeted
Today every app opens its own door to the internet, so there are millions of doors, each written by a different team. As we will continue to see, creative destruction (the new making the old obsolete) is ending the second-generation internet.
The third generation however rises, and it goes back to how Alan Turing first imagined computers: simple, with nothing extra and no internet connection. Hackers can't attack what they can't find.
In ElastOS there's one small door, the runtime and carrier, shared by every app and open for anyone to audit. It only connects to verified identities, and everything passing through is encrypted.
Every app sealed in its own box, blind to the internet, checked as genuine before it runs. A blockchain ledger, the collective truth, creates trust in a trustless world.
The internet becomes the computer. Simple enough to trust. Reach out if you want to be one of the first to build on this new framework.
The black device in my hand is a double-sided display screen—i.e., two screens that share one set of LED backlights instead of two separate sets (one for each screen). They also share a single PCB instead of three (one for each display plus an extra motherboard). The end product is thinner, lighter, and, more importantly, cheaper.
We were discussing how to build ElastOS into the firmware of the device so that it is robust and turns on instantly.
Advertisers could then stream ads directly (peer-to-peer) to supermarket shelves, and merchandise producers would know how many people watched, for how long, and how many times, without having to trust the advertisers, by leveraging the dDRM and DigitCapsule technology.
Exciting!

You can't hack what you can't see." "Trust nothing." Sounds abstract, but it simply means hide devices from the internet, and run only code that proves it's genuine.
eg. today, smart cameras sit online with open ports, run any code, and trust passwords. Your apps send everything to company servers that get breached and sell your data to advertisers. AI now scans millions of devices an hour, finds the bugs, and breaks in.
So the fix is no open ports, the chip verifies all code, and access only by keys you can revoke. Every day on X there's another AI-powered hack. AI finds open doors fast, so the trillion dollar solution is...build with none.
In China this week with IoT and chip makers, exploring this blue ocean architecture from the chip up, a trillion dollar internet operating system opportunity.

The launch of the Elastos World Computer isn't just about releasing software—it's about driving actual adoption.
Think of Elastos the way Java lived atop Windows: a specialized platform empowering peer-to-peer communities to trade digital goods directly, powered by trustworthy, self-sovereign computing.
When you remove the intermediary, trust has to change. Without a middleman to catch fakes or settle disputes, trust can no longer depend on a central platform. It must be built into the digital asset itself.
Through owner-controlled DIDs, both parties can independently verify authenticity, provenance, and ownership.
With one release, we achieve two critical milestones: delivering the technology and starting to move real work onto the platform.

The ElastOS Browser runs every website inside its own tiny virtual machine on your computer.
You see a live stream of the page. Your clicks go in; trackers, downloads and site code stay in the box. No direct internet, no access to your home network. Your logins belong to your Home. Early, a bit slow, very private.
Video repost below shows how the runtime creates a clear layer boundary to protect you.

It will happen, and I can see the path to how there will be Games and Apps and even things like inference offered in Elacity over time - users can use a Flint agent in ElastOS to package anything they want and push it to the market, buyers can purchase and downlad and own it on their runtime, even if the creator shuts down, so long as the buyers own a copy, the smart contract lives on and they can validate ownership and access it

One thing I wish we could have in gaming is true ownership.
I've bought games on Steam, Switch and PS5, and some of them more than once. It would be great to have one digital license that I can use across platforms, keep safe on #ElastOS, transfer to someone else, or pass on without worrying about a game server shutting down.
Imagine buying a game once and keeping the right to use it, even years later.
That's an idea I'd love to see explored with Elastos. 🎮 $ELA @ElastosInfo

First, it looks like a computer and acts like a computer; therefore, it is a computer.
Second, you can open a window on the desktop to display the JohnDoe://www folder as if you were accessing an X:\www drive and treat it as his personal website.
Third, similar to converting a Word document into a PDF, user-generated content may be published as DigitCapsules—limited-edition digital goods—so you can trade them with others.
Fourth, it will be very difficult to launch DDoS, man-in-the-middle, or Sybil attacks from your account to mine, because neither you nor I see the internet at all.
Fifth, how can I convince people that the Elastos World Computer is a paradigm shift—Back To The Future? You may have to see and feel it, just like the WWW once upon a time.
It's running inside ElastOS, on the PC² Terminal, through our own ARM64 → WebAssembly translator, drawn on the local GPU.
