Dear @Tesla
Please add software version and speed mode to the dashcam telemetry.
Being able to see which FSD version was running and whether the car was in Sloth, Chill, Standard, Hurry, or Mad Max mode when a clip was recorded would make FSD footage so much more useful for everyone.
The data is already there!
Let us see it‼️🙏

Thank you Tesla FSD for saving my life. I looked at the car coming to the stop sign figured they would stop, my car went, then came to a stop mid intersection as they flew by. Had I been manually driving this would have resulted in a crash.

Replying to @Tesla
FSD likely saved my life this morning. 5:50am headed to the gym and the car started slowing and moving over before I even realized why.

Amazing FSD maneuver, wow!
I’m at a red light in the middle of 5 lanes of traffic.
My Cybertruck sees an ambulance approaching from the rear… but the intersection is mostly blocked.
So, it turns right across 3 lanes into a safe pocket, leaving a clear lane for the emergency vehicle to proceed without pause.
After confirming it is safe, my truck then merges & continues onto the new road, automatically updating my nav to reflect the unplanned turn.
Has anyone seen FSD do something like this before… this wasn’t just a pull over while driving.
It was a full ‘let’s make a gap for that emergency and keep them on their way’ purposeful action from a full stop.

“ I need this in my life”

First time FSD experience always leaves them begging for more.

Tesla will NEVER be driverless!
Okay, they might become driverless, but only with LIDAR
Okay, they’re driverless with pure vision and end to end neural nets… but it’s only a few cars registered, they’ll never scale.
Okay, they more than doubled the size of their fleet this week… but they’re probably just registering the cars but not actually putting them on the road. Miles is what matters.
Okay, they have millions of safe driverless miles… but that’s only in the United States
Okay, they’re driverless in other countries now… but it will never work on the moon and Mars

I didn't know what a @zoox was until now when a distracted driver crashed into one that was apparently malfunctioning in rush hour traffic in Las Vegas today.

Tesla is very open to licensing FSD to other automakers. If I were a legacy automaker, I would be working furiously to make a deal right now, as it will take a few years to actually get a product with the new technology out. But then personal autonomy will be table stakes.

Looking back, Full Self-Driving has faced the same relentless fear tactics.
It feels little different from the AI panic being stoked today—often by nearly the same voices. The lives being saved, however, is enormous.
For years we have held this conviction, quietly improving the products. Not for fortune or fame, but so the people we love can arrive home safely.
