Over 75 senior retired 🇺🇸U.S. generals, admirals, and military lawyers have signed a new open letter rejecting claims that Israel committed genocide in Gaza. The signatories include those who have commanded U.S. armed forces in combat, applying the laws of armed conflict. Their conclusion: based on the facts and applicable legal standard, the conduct of Israel’s war against Hamas does not constitute genocide. As the letter states, “Civilian deaths occurring during combat, however tragic, are insufficient, by themselves, to support a finding of genocidal intent.” The standards used to judge military conduct matter precisely because war is tragic and imperfect. “The precedent established today regarding Israel will shape the conditions under which American forces fight tomorrow. Protecting civilians and preserving the ability of our nation to defend itself requires us to defend the truth when the laws of war are being distorted to make false charges of genocide.” This is not an argument for minimizing the suffering of civilians. It is an argument for applying the law faithfully and maintaining the distinctions that matter: between the tragic consequences of war, violations of the laws of armed conflict, and the specific crime of genocide. Beware! Signs of what is coming Anyone who is younger than 60 years old should be aware of what former Soviet Prime Minister Nikita Khrushchev said during an address to the United Nations in 1959...."Your children's children will live under communism. You Americans are so gullible. No, you won't accept communism outright; but, we will keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you will finally wake up and find you already have Communism. We will not have to fight you. We will so weaken your economy, until you will fall like overripe fruit into our hands. The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not" It was September 29, 1959, when Nikita Khrushchev delivered his prediction for America at the United Nations. I was just 10 years old, but I remember like it was yesterday the television coverage of him banging his shoe on the podium. At that time, just the word "communism" was feared throughout our nation. Remember this. Socialism leads to Communism How do you create a Socialist State? There are eight levels of control… 1) Healthcare - Control healthcare and you control the people 2) Poverty - Increase the poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them. 3) Debt - Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty. 4) Gun Control - Remove the ability to defend themselves from the government . That way you are able to create a police state. 5) Welfare - Take control of every aspect (food, housing, income) of their lives because that will make them fully dependent on the government. 6) Education - Take control of what people read, listen to and take control of what children learn in school. 7) Religion - Remove the belief in God from the government and schools because the people need to believe in ONLY the government knowing what is best for the people. 8)Class Warfare - Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. Eliminate the middle class. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to tax the rich with the support of the poor. Here is our scary future: Six of those levels are already being pushed - ARE YOU AWAKE? All of these levels are being worked on including erasing history, and destroying monuments now. Another thing that happens when tyrants take over, they remove the police and put their own henchmen in their place. Sound familiar? Are you awake? I pray you are! Please share!

An article I've been working on for a while. The Seditious Six did not spring out of nowhere. They came from an institutional lineage that started soon after President Trump got elected.

At Texas A&M University, we serve with purpose, lead with character and take action for the good of our communities. This is what it means to be an Aggie: to believe that what we can do together is far greater than what any one of us can do alone. For 150 years, Aggies have embodied that belief for Texas and for America. Together, we stand. Together, we serve. Together, we are a force for good. Learn more: tx.ag/2026BrandAnthem

If ID checks are “Jim Crow,” then so are Democratic National Conventions, where delegates are required to produce ID to get in! So are the following institutions (among many others): • Labor Union Conventions • The Grammys • The Oscars • The Emmys • Banks • Pharmacies • Hospitals • Airports • Hotels • Gun Shops • Casinos • Schools • Social Security • DMVs • Casinos • Employers IDs prevent fraud in finance, health, the Democratic Party, and so much more Voter ID does the same for elections Calling ID requirements “Jim Crow” is absurd and insulting to the American people, who overwhelmingly agree that we need to take a few simple steps to make our elections secure So, what *really* worries you about the SAVE America Act and its voter ID requirements?
The SAVE Act would impose Jim Crow style restrictions on voting. It will be dead on arrival in the Senate. My statement:

Didn’t go over my head in the least. I really appreciate what you are saying and I am happy that you’ve taken this stance. Gig Em and I share where you are and where you’re headed.
Morals and values are something that every single Aggie is engrained with from the second that you step on campus. I chose not to accept that fact until recently but moving forward I will hold myself to a higher standard that will go over a lot of y’all’s heads. Time to get 1% better today 🙏

An essential @TAMU tradition, Silver Taps is more than a century old and has evolved over time. The Association delved deep into archival history to create this special story, which had never before been compiled into a full history. 🎺 tx.ag/HistorySilverTaps @aggiejournalist
