anyone can inspect their traits, rarity and underlying info, which isn’t ideal for games and apps where certain details should remain private.
@FungoLabs is doing something different with encrypted nfts.
built using zama’s fhe tech, fungo allows nfts to function onchain while keeping their hidden info encrypted.
holders can own, transfer and interact with their nfts without exposing everything to the public.
i like the direction here bcos privacy shouldn’t have to come at the expense of functionality.
and fungo isn’t stopping at its genesis collection.
the bigger plan is to build a launchpad where other projects can create & launch their own encrypted nft collections.
if it succeeds, fungo could become an important piece of infra for the privacy-focused nft ecosystem.

I love encryption, we all love fungo
how much privacy can an nft really offer when everything about it is open for the world to see?
this is where @FungoLabs caught my attention.

One thing that could unlock more institutional activity on BNB Chain is giving businesses the freedom to operate without putting their entire playbook on public display.
Think about it like this; an institution might want to manage large positions, execute transactions, move liquidity or explore DeFi opportunities onchain
But there's a problem; when every position, transaction amount and strategy is publicly visible, competitors can study those movements, front-run opportunities or gain insights into sensitive business activities.
That's not exactly an ideal environment for serious financial operations and this is where @primus_labs brings an interesting piece to the conversation.
Confidentiality allows sensitive financial information to remain protected while institutions interact with public blockchain infrastructure.
Verification adds another layer by allowing claims and relevant data to be validated without requiring institutions to expose everything behind them.
together, these capabilities create a more practical environment:

i thought i'd never post again

a doctor looked me in the eye and told me it was most likely cancer
found out i have a 14cm tumor and high CA markers
biopsy was not an option because the chances of spreading were high so i needed an open surgery
so i was wheeled into surgery not knowing who i'd be when i woke up
i lost my whole left ovary. then i waited weeks, scared out of my mind
it came back benign. NOT cancer
i cried so hard
still recovering after the surgery
so grateful that i get to live life, come back to work, say hi to my internet frens again
and yes i am alive, will be answering dms soon ❤️

On @FungoLabs, the 300M $FUNGO set aside for the X campaign is one good part.
Fungo has a 10B fixed supply, with 46% dedicated to community airdrops. Genesis NFT holders and zama OG holders also have allocations, so there are different ways to get involved beyond creating content on X.
Interestingly the genesis NFT holders can continue earning from launchpad fees and new token launches. The fungo token also has a purpose, from staking for early access to sales to helping projects gain visibility.
There is also plans for weekly buybacks and burns, alongside liquidity to be locked permanently.
