Indians seem to have forgotten or marginalised a language of protest that has been practiced by the French, Serbians, Albanians & Brazilians recently. Protests are meant to disrupt & no 'permissions' should be required from any arms of the fascist state for this disruption.

Clark Backo on Hudson Williams’ dedication to his craft as an actor in a new interview with @ashotmagazine! ❤️
“‘We were filming this show when everything had just exploded for him. He was dealing with people stopping him on the street for the first time,’ Backo says, with an air of protectiveness. For those who insist on following him in public, she has a simple warning: ‘Please stop harassing him, people. Let him have some privacy.’
But none of this newfound fame managed to veer Williams off course, with Backo noting how he turned up to set every day completely prepared. ‘To have so much going on in his life yet stay so grounded and so dedicated to his craft is something that I really admire. He’s also such a cinephile. He knows all the cinematographers, every actor.’ Backo, by comparison, has a never-ending watchlist of films she hasn’t seen. ‘He just stayed true to what he’s actually here to do. He loves his job. He’s locked in.’”

The visuals emerging from Jamia Millia Islamia should provoke outrage and concern among every political party and human rights organisation in India. To use brute force against our own students and turn one of our finest universities into a fortress is nothing short of fascism.

Waah Modi Ji! Waah!
Heartiest congratulations to my dear friend, President Lula, on his remarkable re-election victory.
I look forward to working closely with him to further deepen and expand the multifaceted India-Brazil Strategic Partnership.
Together, we will continue to strengthen our cooperation across diverse sectors, advance the shared priorities of the Global South and work towards a more inclusive, equitable and sustainable world.

Owen Thiele shot scenes with Connor Storrie for the upcoming A24 movie "Peaked."
"He’s genuinely so humble and so down to earth and so wonderful and deeply cared about making [director Molly Gordon] happy. He’s so collaborative. In one scene, I have like one line and he was like, 'Am I giving you what you need?' I was like, 'For my one line? Yes.' He cares so deeply. He’s genuinely a very well-trained actor. I come from an improv background where we’re constantly cutting each other off. I learned from him on set."

Jamia update
Bizarre order!!! Rejected by students. They are unhappy with it. It does not specify the date of constitution's approval or elections and asking for a public apology and demanding that all "defamatory" posts be taken down is absurd. Nothing about the resignation of the proctor.
Strike continues.
There was hope and celebration, but the shameless dalal RSS administration shows its true colours yet again!
