Megan Chloe Swann, a former Madison County Tennessee deputy, faces one count of aggravated cruelty to animals. Sheriff Julian Wiser said she left the 2.5 year old German shepherd for about 36 hours as temperatures hit 101 degrees. A necropsy found heat stroke from severe dehydration.
She posted a $5,000 bond. Arraignment is Nov 9. A working dog deserved better.

700+ bills. Zero urgency. Same leader.
The American people just spoke. They don’t want more of the same. They want accountability.
This isn’t complicated. If you sat on hundreds of bills while the country demanded action, you don’t get to raise your hand for another term at the top.

In addition to the reasons listed below, a big part of why we lost the midterms is because of John Thune and the RINO Swamp.
Trump won the popular vote and we gave the GOP full control of DC.
And what did Thune do?
Blocked Voter ID.
Prevented recess appointments.
Slow walked the MAGA agenda.
He must be primaried next election.

The Senate has failed under John Thune's leadership.
He has failed on the SAVE America Act. Failed to get anything done on immigration and H-1B visas. Failed to codify Trump's executive orders. Failed to confirm all of Trump's appointments.
They need to cancel the vacation and confirm every one of the 156 outstanding nominees.
Every vacancy must be filled or they will be filled by Democrats.
The House and Senate Republicans need to take full advantage of the majority while we still have them.

For four years, I’ve been going to homeless encampment all over Los Angeles, under bridges, in dark alleyways, literally every place where one can get shot I have been to. With one simple objective. And that is to make sure that the dogs are OK. And for four years, I’ve been trying to get the attention of one person that can help. And not only has this one person ignored us, but she has nade things worse by going on the news, rolling her eyes, saying everything is fine and aligning herself with organizations that are doing more harm than good. I am glad that @nithyavraman won and not because I think the next four years is going to be rainbows and unicorns, but because it is truly time for a new leader and it’s truly time to prove to people that if you don’t do your job, you lose your job. Please allow me to present a different perspective.
The problem was not the Iran War. It was the cease fire.
If you start a war, you need to win it and finish it – otherwise don’t start it.
This war should have been over six months ago, with the Strait of Hormuz wide open and oil flowing. The second and third tiers of Iranian leadership should have been destroyed, and we should have supported the pro-western forces who could have taken leadership. We stood on the brink of a new, more peaceful Middle East - and then we blinked. We had a chance not only to deny Iran nuclear weapons, but to get rid of the world’s biggest supporter of terrorism.
Instead, we had a cease fire, which was followed by months of will we or won’t we finish the job. Every day was a different message. There still is. Is the war over? Is it about to begin? No one knows. There is confusion and inconsistency.
In June 2025, America was not involved. This was an Israel vs Iran issue.
No one forced the United States to attack Iran then, or in February of 2026. It was a decision made by President Trump. In my opinion, it was the right decision.
Once the decision was made, we should not have stopped until the regime fell. But instead, you negotiated a cease fire that didn’t last, didn’t work and left us in no man’s land, with higher prices and our troops still deployed.
Our troops could have been home, the Navy returned to its bases, a peaceful regime in place , new alliances forged, and gas prices below $3.00 a gallon.
No, Mr. Vice President. It’s not the war. It’s the so-called cease fire.
