Big thank you @jigyasa_0203
Coming to India for @EFDevcon for the first time? Save this
Mumbai is a whole different experience, and a little local knowledge can save you from unnecessary chaos.
Here’s your Aamchi mumbai guide
1. Stay close to the venue
Book near Jio World Convention Centre (BKC).
Mumbai traffic is no joke. A 5 km ride can eat up way more time than you’d expect.
Book early because accommodation prices can spike during Devcon.
2. Download @Uber , @Olacabs and @rapidoapp_
Your go-to for getting around.
Always factor in traffic and cab waiting times.
If you’re attending multiple events, hiring a car with a driver for the day might be worth it.
3. Download @zomato and @Swiggy
India’s food delivery game is elite.
From biryani to burgers, you can get almost anything delivered.
Late-night options depend on your location, but you’ll rarely run out of choices.
4. Download @letsblinkit and @ZeptoNow
Forgot your charger, need snacks, or ran out of essentials? These apps have you.
Some deliveries arrive in 10–15 minutes, depending on availability.
5. Don’t leave without trying Mumbai food
Vada pav, pav bhaji, dosa missal pav and local chaat are must-tries.
Not into street food? Mumbai has pretty much every cuisine.
Choose hygienic spots and stick to safe drinking water.
6. Carry some cash
UPI is everywhere, but setting it up as an international visitor can be tricky.
Keep some Indian rupees handy. Don’t assume every local vendor accepts international cards.
7. Sort out your internet
Check international roaming or local SIM/eSIM options before arriving.
Save your hotel address and download offline maps. Future you will thank you.
8. Bandra and Juhu is your nightlife spot
Great bars, restaurants and clubs.
Check entry fees and reservations before showing up
9. Make local friends
Join Devcon community chats and connect with Indian builders.
Need a food recommendation, help with transport or someone to explain how things work? Your local frens are your cheat code.
10. Devcon-specific survival tips
Keep your registration confirmation and required ID ready.
Check side-event locations before RSVPing. Two events on the same evening might be nowhere near each other.
Carry a power bank. Your phone is basically your wallet, map, camera and networking tool.
Wear comfortable shoes. Between the venue and side events, you’ll be walking A LOT.
Don’t try to attend every single event. Leave room for random conversations. That’s where the magic happens.
Exchange contacts and actually follow up after meeting people. Networking doesn’t end when the event does.
11. Pack for Mumbai
Comfortable clothes for warm, humid weather.
A travel adapter and power bank.
Water bottle, sunscreen and any essentials you need throughout the day.
12. Don’t just come for the conference
Explore the city, eat the food, meet the people and say yes to plans that aren’t on your itinerary.
Your money. Where does it go?

1/ The Devcon 8 schedule is officially LIVE!
And the Devcon App is here in Early Access. 📱
Explore sessions, discover speakers, build your schedule with Interests, and keep your ticket handy, even offline.
Mumbai is almost here. Start planning your experience!
Most LPs eat their yield in gas without realizing it.
Collecting rewards too early ate your returns. Waiting too long risks inefficiency.
Mamoru set smart thresholds.
How often do you rebalance or claim your fees?
A pool's APY is not your return.
Pool APY = fees ÷ liquidity. A snapshot.
What you keep = fees − gas − price moves − time out of range.
That's why you won't see a Mamoru APY from us yet. When we post one, it'll come from real accounts, net of gas.
And don't forget to apply for your visa if needed 😂😂😂😂
I couldn't do it better, so I'm sharing this.
What's happening there is genuinely different. @KibaGateaux idea is not a resort, but real cultural integration.
Don't expect a welcome pack but a group of people determined to make things happen.
ZuJapan is the real thing.
