it was always heading this way. the idea that a queer identity leads to unhappiness and can or should be discouraged is old-school homophobia of the exact kind that led to section 28, and has been the obvious goal of the TERF movement for over a decade now

LGBT+ folks have been warning for years about the infiltration of authoritarian gender critical Judas prudes who wish to undermine gay & trans rights & set us back decades.
The phrase “loving concern” sends shivers down my spine. As a gay man, I understand its sinister intent.
