Every once in a while I see something Captured Ephemera posts for $50 or some other ridiculous price and I know I have a drawer filled with those posters. Who is going to pay me $50 for a Chromatics poster?
An eBay item got “lost” in the mail and I asked the buyer to wait but they couldn’t wait and forced me to refund them. Filed a report with USPS who refunded me and then the item was delivered and eBay also refunded me. It was a good day.
I went to Reuse Arts & Crafts in Berkeley today. Most of the store was unpriced and when I brought up some books and asked the price they pulled up eBay in front of me to price the book. I found it for 1/2 that price on Amazon.
Sickest $5 flea market find in a while. I was late to this stash too. Missed out on some great flyers, stickers, pinbacks and magazines. Still I think I did OK.
Every bar has a record swap nowadays. Every individual neighborhood has a vintage market / record swap. Everything feels diluted nowadays with everyone hustling against one another until it all collapses in on itself.

I walked into a thrift that was putting out six boxes of used records only to discover it was 6 boxes of records donated by another thrift store that couldn’t sell them for a quarter each. Crushed.
Cool thrift find that had a homeless man following me throughout the store saying I stole the books he wanted. Somehow fit all of these into my backpack and biked home where my gf will get mad at me.
