The money being borrowed is being used to compromise Parliament. This country is very rich; we just need financial discipline.

Seven days ago, I called on President William Ruto to discharge his constitutional and administrative duty to release the report of the National Taskforce on Police Reforms, which I submitted to him on 16 November 2023. That call remains unanswered. The President had before him the historic occasion of Katiba Day to release this report and set in motion its implementation. He let the moment pass. I now have the solemn responsibility to make the report public. I am in the final stages of consultation with various stakeholders and shall communicate the next steps in due course. Kenya deserves police institutions that serve and protect her people. #Ukombozi2027

THE PEOPLE MUST NOT REPAY ILLEGAL DEBT Kenya’s people cannot be made to repay every loan simply because someone signed a document in the name of the Republic. Before taxpayers are asked to pay, we must ask basic questions: Was the borrowing lawful? Were the constitutional and statutory procedures followed? Where did the money go? What was it used for? What public benefit did it produce? And where #odiousdebt is alleged, we must ask what the lenders knew, or reasonably ought to have known. Public debt is not a blank cheque. The Constitution, the law and the Kenyan people must come first. #DeniBandia #ReKe

THE SHYLOCK NEXT DOOR You would never let someone use your ID to borrow money from a Shylock, then expect you to repay the loan. You would call it THEFT. So why are we so quiet when it happens to our country? Kenya’s public debt now stands at about KSh 12.8 trillion. This year, about 91 percent of the taxes we collect will go to paying debt, not improving hospitals, schools, roads, or supporting counties. We feel it every day through higher taxes, delayed county funding, delayed and reduced capitation, struggling public services, and fewer development projects. Debt is not the problem. Debt without clear results is. Every Kenyan is paying for these loans. Every Kenyan has the right to ask one simple question. What did we borrow all this money for? Your name is on the bill. Your voice should be part of the conversation. #KenyaDebtCrisis #OdiousDebt #DeniBandia #GetitDone #ReKe

Google just dropped a 1-hour course on agentic engineering from scratch: 00:00 - Build your first AI agent 08:24 - Give your agent real memory (short, persistent, long) 28:34 - Agentic loops that run for hours on their own 40:04 - Build your own MCP (MCP VS API) 1:00:22 - Wire up multi-agent systems 72 minutes and you'll understand agents better than most people building them. Watch it today, then read the step by step guide for beginners on building loops below.

A month ago, I told everyone: "I've been a backend Engineer for 12+ years. Today, I'm a Principal Engineer at Atlassian. I've designed systems that handle millions of requests. Sat on both sides of system design interviews. Reviewed more architecture docs than I can count. Starting today, I'm breaking down the fundamentals of scaling for the next 25 days. If you're learning system design bookmark this thread, you're going to get a lot of learning from this." FYI, the series has concluded. Here are all the concepts, please bookmark, share, learn and the most important build from the learnings you get. Also, if you have any ideas on what you'd like to see from me, please let me know, any other series or concepts to be broken down.

Anthropic engineer: "You can build 5 assistants in one afternoon. Each one handles a task you've been doing manually every single day." In 45 minutes he builds 5 focused agents from scratch on camera. Most people are still doing code review, testing, and documentation by hand every single day Watch the session, then save all templates below 👇

If I had to land a $200K AI engineer job in 90 days, I would not get a degree. I would master these 10 GitHub repos. 1. awesome-llm-apps The production AI playbook. RAG, agents, multimodal apps, all in working code. 106K+ stars. Repo → github.com/Shubhamsaboo/awes… 2. LangChain The foundational framework. Used in production by Klarna, Replit, Elastic, and most AI startups in 2026. Repo → github.com/langchain-ai/lang… 3. LangGraph The orchestration layer powering production agents. The skill on every senior AI engineer job description. Repo → github.com/langchain-ai/lang… 4. CrewAI Multi-agent coordination. The framework most Fortune 500 teams reach for first. Repo → github.com/crewAIInc/crewAI 5. Ollama Run any open-source LLM on your own machine. The fastest way to learn how models actually work. Repo → github.com/ollama/ollama 6. awesome-mcp-servers MCP is the standard every major AI lab adopted in 2026. Knowing it puts you ahead of 99% of engineers. Repo → github.com/punkpeye/awesome-… 7. Qdrant The vector database used for production RAG at scale. Embeddings and semantic search are non-negotiable for AI roles. Repo → github.com/qdrant/qdrant 8. AI-Agents-for-Beginners Microsoft's free 12-lesson course on building agents. Real code, real exercises, real prep. Repo → github.com/microsoft/ai-agen… 9. system-design-primer Production AI is system design. The repo FAANG engineers use to prep for interviews. Repo → github.com/donnemartin/syste… 10. awesome-claude-code The playbook for the tool now used inside FAANG, OpenAI, Anthropic, and most YC startups. Repo → github.com/hesreallyhim/awes… Here's the wildest part: A $200K AI engineer in 2026 isn't paid for a degree. They are paid for what these 10 repos teach. The market doesn't care where you learned it. It only cares if you can ship. 90 days. 10 repos. One portfolio that proves you can do the work. That's it. That's the whole game. Don’t overthink it. • Build a Calculator to master logic & loops • Build a Weather App using live APIs • Build a CRUD Web App with Flask + DB • Build a Chatbot UI with Streamlit + GPT • Build a File Organizer with os & shutil • Build a Resume Parser using NLP • Build a Stock Predictor using ML • Build a Job Tracker that updates Notion The best way to learn Python? Projects. Not tutorials.

Senator Okiya Omtatah has taken the battle to the High Court with a petition that could change Kenya’s history. Omtatah argues that of the Sh9.11 trillion borrowed between 2014 and 2024, only Sh2.57 trillion was legally approved by Parliament through Appropriation Acts. He alleges the remaining Sh6.54 trillion is "odious debt" money borrowed unconstitutionally, never appearing in any budget, and never benefiting the people. The petition specifically targets USD 7.1 billion in Eurobond debt, asking the court to declare it null and void. In recent sessions, the IMF has attempted to plead diplomatic immunity, seeking to be struck from the case. Omtatah’s team has countered this, arguing that an international organization cannot commit "economic terrorism" by funding illegal processes and then hide behind immunity to avoid accountability. The Chief Justice has assigned a multi-judge bench to determine this case, acknowledging that the question of whether a nation can repudiate "illegal" sovereign debt is a matter of supreme public interest.

Why is no one talking about this? @nvidia is offering around 80 AI models via hosted APIs absolutely for free. You get access to MiniMax M2.7, GLM 5.1, Kimi 2.5, DeepSeek 3.2, GPT-OSS-120B, Sarvam-M etc. This plugs straight into OpenClaude, OpenCode, Zed IDE, Hermes agent and even with Cursor IDE. Setup: – Grab API key: build.nvidia.com/models – base_url = "integrate.api.nvidia.com/v1" – api_key = "$NVIDIA_API_KEY" – select model (e.g. minimaxai/minimax-m2.7) If you’re building or experimenting, this is basically free inference. Lock in and start building today anon. Thank me later.
