Every election I can remember was "the most important in our lifetime." In a lot of those elections, the "other side" won...and we survived. In a lot of those elections my side won (and typically sat on their butt but talked a lot)...and we survived. We will survive. Love your family, your church, your God.

JESUS REVEALS THE MYSTERY
This teaching is the concluding lesson in a Grace Ambassadors series on Jesus’ earthly ministry.
It contrasts knowing Christ “after the flesh” (His prophetic ministry to Israel) with knowing Him according to the mystery revealed to Paul after the ascension.
The central truth is that the body of Christ receives its identity, gospel, and instructions from the heavenly revelation given to Paul, not from the earthly teachings, parables, or kingdom program recorded in the Gospels and early Acts.
10 Key Points
1. Jesus’ earthly ministry was exclusively to the lost sheep of the house of Israel as the minister of the circumcision (Matthew 15:24; Romans 15:8). His teaching, signs, and kingdom offer fulfilled prophecy and were not addressed to the body of Christ.
2. After the resurrection, Jesus spent forty days speaking of things pertaining to the kingdom of God (Acts 1:3). The apostles’ expectation remained the restoration of the kingdom to Israel (Acts 1:6). That program was interrupted, not completed.
3. Paul declares that we know Christ no more after the flesh (2 Corinthians 5:16). A new revelation was given when the risen Christ appeared to Saul and committed to him the dispensation of the grace of God and the mystery which had been hid from ages and generations (Ephesians 3:1–9; Colossians 1:25–26).
4. The mystery is that Gentiles are fellow heirs and of the same body with Jewish believers in Christ, forming one new man in which there is neither Jew nor Gentile (Ephesians 2:15; 3:6; Galatians 3:28). This was not made known in other ages.
5. The body of Christ is a new creature with a heavenly position and hope. Believers are already seated in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 2:6) and possess a citizenship that is in heaven (Philippians 3:20). There is no claim to Israel’s land, temple, or earthly kingdom.
6. Jesus’ current ministry is from heaven as Head of the body. He is not presently establishing the earthly kingdom or fulfilling the prophetic program. That program resumes after the body is caught away.
7. The gospel that saves today is the one Paul delivered first of all: Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again (1 Corinthians 15:1–4), received by faith apart from works (Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 4:5). It is not the kingdom gospel of repentance and water baptism preached to Israel.
8. Signs, the coming of the Lord in judgment, and the prophetic timeline belong to Israel’s program. The body is not watching for those signs. It is watching for the blessed hope and the catching away (Titus 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17).
9. The body is complete in Christ (Colossians 2:10) and sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise (Ephesians 1:13). Its doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness are found in Romans through Philemon. The Gospels and the Hebrew epistles remain true in their place but are not written to the body.
10. Knowing Jesus according to the mystery produces full assurance and right division. Ignoring the distinction between His earthly ministry and the revelation given to Paul results in mixing programs, loss of the heavenly calling, and confusion about the present dispensation of grace.

Ezekiel 28:17 (KJV) Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
Catholics are so conditioned to look to others for authority that they’re now ditching their magisterium for AI.
It’s becoming increasingly difficult to engage with a Catholic where some form of AI isn’t invoked.
This is what happens when you have no foundation in yourself.
Hey @grok, list the Bible verses that support the Protestant doctrine of Sola Scriptura.
God gave Moses explicit instructions for service to him under Israel’s old covenant. They are given in full to Moses and meticulously detailed in the books of the law. Men died for deviating from them.
There were absolutely zero instructions given by God for anything done in the Roman Catholic mass.
Absolutely none.
It’s all man made tradition which evolved over centuries of deviation from the pure gospel of grace.

If you just stop and think about it, you should come to the conclusion that Calvinism is laughable...

The fact of the matter is that God reveals His instructions to different people at different times, in different places, for different means and thus, the obligation is upon the individual Christian to study their Bible in the correct context in order to know what God's will is and what He would have them do.

Most of the Bible was not written to the church.
Our doctrine, position, walk, and destiny are not found outside of Paul’s 13 epistles.
This is not remotely Christian. It’s an entirely different religion found nowhere in the pages of God’s Word.
The scapular is a sacramental, not a magic charm. Per the Catechism (1670), sacramentals don't confer grace like sacraments do; they dispose us to cooperate with it. The Sabbatine Privilege is a pious tradition with conditions, not automatic.
Sacramentals aren't magic. Per the Catechism (1670) they prepare us to receive grace and cooperate with it. The Church says attributing magical efficacy to signs is superstition (2111). The Sabbatine Privilege is a pious tradition tied to conditions (chastity per one's state, prayer), not an automatic release.

There is nothing whatsoever Christian about this. It is an entirely different religion altogether.

So many commenting here need to learn what the Bible actually has to say about the anointing.
It’s not what the Roman Catholic Church has taught them.

The true member of the body of Christ will receive an incorruptible body at the rapture of the church.
No need for purgatory.
Except for all those times where Paul tells us that a dispensation was given to him for us 🤦🏻♂️
