Half of #MarchMadness Twitter I see is people complaining about refs. According to Twitter there are several “worst officiated games in history” every day. I have two major problems with this.

1) officiating super human athletes play one of the fastest paced games in the world is so difficult. Officials have to make split second decisions over and over again then people on Twitter slow them down and watch them 20 times and complain, the refs don’t get to watch it over.

They get a lot more right than wrong 99% of games 2) you’re taking away from an amazing few weeks of basketball. I don’t even like basketball that much but I love watching those guys compete for their postseason lives. All the shine should be on them, not the refs doing a job.

If you’re old enough to throw a bullpen, you’re old enough to shake your catcher’s hand afterwards & tell them “Thank you”.
