.@jemelehill gets real with @TiffanyDCross, explaining the concept of "race-norming" and what it means now the #NFL is dropping it as a league policy. #CrossConnection

Protecting the rights of football players via @NFLPA We know #COVID19 has caused longterm damage to major organs When the @NFL substantially reduces disability benefits for former players, how can they truly care? #Forgotten400 @WomenoftheNFL nflpa.com/posts/misconceptio…
Dreams do come true.Get drafted and play the game you love.Get brain damage and the game you loved don’t love you back, reduce the only benefit that kept you in good spirits.Old teammate don’t care, coaches quiet too. A few speak up one time. While 400 families stress. #tbi #cba

F! I’m stressed! Went over finances w wife & CPA. $30k a yr lost because of the new #NFL #CBA means we must sell our house or my kids & wife have no health insurance. My HRA is running real low. We’re F-Ed! I hate being a burden to my family. Health ins or sell handicap home?

Talking with @E_Reid35 @meiselasb @PassMonique talks about husband Patrick, Junior Seau and the need current players will have when the leave the game injured. "They know eventually where this is heading but... some of these guys don't have wives. Who's taking care of them"?

& denied his case w/o review of medical records all because his disabilities prevented him from traveling long distances for exams w/Plan doctors. They originally had him traveling 1,000+ miles. Then they trimmed it to *only* 9-hours when there were Plan docs less than 1 hr away
Former NFL lineman Darryl Ashmore has: Early onset dementia Migraines Memory loss Depression Anxiety Impaired concentration Nausea Hypertension Chronic pain in neck, knees, back Herniated discs Degenerative arthritis ...and the @NFL hired lawyers to fight his disability claims

I’m disappointed @JCTretter that your letter did not address that the CBA was altered after vote, harming disabled players. Being ‘unified’ in ignorance helps no one & @NFLPA silence is deafening. Have you forwarded letter I posted yesterday to all members so they know what’s up?

This NEW change will affect even more DISABLED families than the original CBA stated by deceasing Disability Benefits that families have been receiving, some for decades. They are now being cut to an amount lower than they were receiving back in 2011.

Oh Mike, do you think we’re not worried about our families too? We are. Many of the permanently disabled nfl players are counting on men like @E_Reid35 to be our advocate as the disabled players were blindsided by the nfl and nflpa. These were life benefits that are now being cut

Spread the word among active players. De Smith (the guy you pay) and the owners set up the the defective #CBA to cheat active and retired players out of benefits. All knew it was coming but De Smith ignores the EC so he runs it as he sees fit. Is that "UNITY"? @JCTretter. #NFLPA

Good Morning #NFL, #NFLPA Remember this guy, the one who we almost lost his life on the field 13 years ago?! Playing in the #NFL! He’s my husband, and though he survived such a catastrophic injury, he lives every single day of his life disabled and in pain. Every Single Day #CBA

"This is probably the most absurd and offensive negotiation I have ever seen.” - @meiselasb (attorney for @E_Reid35) Thank you @ChuckModi1 for reporting the truth!
I'm in the process of adding people to our email list. Once that's done I'll be sending an update and action letter to players and their families. If you're not on the list you can sign up here cognitoforms.com/AdvocacyFor…

This is what he said in a 2007 congressional hearing when players were fighting for benefits. As a disabled person, I don’t hope I’ll health for anyone tho 🤟🏽

Well stated @AaronNagler - accurate, succinct - alternatively articulated as: be careful what you wish for, as you may get it - and, hi. nitter.gq/aaronnagler/status/842…
People are always desperate to see behind the curtain in the NFL, until they see behind the curtain in the NFL. Then they wish they hadn't.
