TBH, it kinda makes more sense for the gulf surrounded by North, South, and Central America to be called the Gulf of America.

The hill I will die on is that "efficiency" is coded masculine b/c in the modern west it is inherently linked to the creation of capital which itself is at odds w/ the embodied female capacity for bearing children, motherhood, & family life. Here I stand.
