From what I understand the NTSB are done with evidence collection and have released the wreckage back to the operator.

NEW: Chevron CEO Mike Wirth says aviation is “going to probably get worse over the next few weeks” because of a jet fuel supply crunch that's also pushed up ticket prices driven by America's war in Iran. He tells @margbrennan the effects could last through the summer.

Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien started Wednesday by meeting with UPS workers and members of Teamsters Local 243 in Pontiac, Mich. Joined by Teamsters Local 243 President Scott Quenneville, O’Brien spoke with members about the package giant’s egregious contract violations and the importance of staying vigilant in contract enforcement efforts. “We will not tolerate any attempt by UPS to sidestep our national contract or local supplements. The company’s latest disrespect for the workers who make UPS run is shameful,” O’Brien said. “UPS Teamsters in Michigan and across the country are using every tool at our disposal to enforce the contract, protect good jobs, and hold UPS accountable for repeat violations. Against our united front, UPS is running out of time to get its act together and do right by hundreds of thousands of hardworking Teamsters.”

Gentle reminder that the major e-commerce hubs are going to be in the eye of the storm: Memphis - FedEx UPS - Louisville Amazon & DHL - Cincy Expect shipping delays. If you can ship packages and cargo earlier in the week, do so. Request overnight.
This could be a significant catalyst for the freight market. The impacted region is one of the most important manufacturing and production centers in the world. Power outages and impassible roads will create significant supply chain issues. Orders will get backed up, creating weeks of high freight demand. Major highways (I-35, I-20, I-40, I-75, I-85) are likely to be impassible, grinding freight traffic to a halt. The snow and ice will melt, but knocking out a week of freight traffic could take a month to clean up - and by then we are off to the spring shipping surge.
