One of my first jobs after college was working for a sports marketing company. We hosted an annual conference for pro sports executives. One year we hired Ernie Johnson @TurnerSportsEJ to be the emcee of the event. I was responsible for making sure he got where he needed to be during the conference, so we spent quite a bit of time together. What you see here in this speech is not an act. He spent so much time asking me questions about my career, my goals, my dreams, how my young married life was going, what my wife did for a living, etc. He genuinely wanted to get to know me and make me feel valued. And I witnessed him treating our entire staff that same way. We didn’t have anything to offer him. But he still wanted to make us feel special.
Thank you @TurnerSportsEJ for the great example you set for me and so many over 25 years ago at the Sports Executive Leadership Conference at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. You practiced what you preached.
Congratulations on an amazing career!

My guy can’t even drive himself to school yet and he’s producing like this for a program with pressure and expectations. We put a lot on our QBs plate to pre and post snap and Will doesn’t flinch!

I will also say this. This young man is what is still best about high school football... No social media accounts, no recruiting services, just going out with his childhood best friends and playing the game the right way!
If Mr. Football in the State of Michigan was actually about impact, Collin Abram would be in the conversation.
Top 5 Back in state, and Top 5 linebacker in the state statistically. Averaging over 9YPC...
