Meanwhile every county in the state shifted left, many strong GOP counties by a greater % than Hennepin.
But go ahead, keep being unwilling to confront the real reasons you lose.
MN Republicans would rather shout unsubstantiated claims of voter fraud rather than hold their political class accountable.
Either GOP consultants were giving your campaigns bad data, or your campaigns knew their strategies weren't working and didn't pivot.
I see a lot of MNGOP tears over how they can't overcome the DFL margins in Hennepin and Ramsey.
My projections for 2030: they need 30% in Hennepin and just 26% in Ramsey for a true 50/50 race.
If that feels out of reach to them its because they are unwilling to moderate at all.
People are like "why didn't MN shift as much as the rest of the country?"
But don't forget when other Midwest states shifted right in prior Trump elections Minnesota held relatively firm.
One reason Minnesota is relatively inelastic: our voter turnout is always high.
The MN GOP keeps acting shocked that they lose, all while never choosing to change anything about themselves. If they were serious they would actually adapt themselves, yet their whole strategy year after year is "no, you change."
I don't think #MNSEN is gonna be particularly close on the DFL side. Flanagan is gonna have a comfortable margin. She's held Craig to basically a draw in Dakota, is winning a lot of rural counties, and there is basically nothing in yet from CDs 4&5 where Flanagan should win big.
Over 47k votes in from CD2 and Peggy leads Angie there by 0.3%. I don't think Angie has a path without big margins from all over CD2. Looking good for Peggy. #mnsen
Looks like Melvin Carter will by my estimates go into the run off rounds with a 2-3% margin. Might not be enough if Chen and Hilborn voters ranked Her out of a desire for change. Though maybe they didnt rank neither Ner nor Carter. #StPaul

One can't say with any seriousness that the Democratic Party has moved far left and the GOP has stayed the same when Dick Fricken Cheney is voting for the Democratic candidate for President.

The Democratic party (as it exists today) is not the solution to this country's problems.
But the Republican party is definitely one of the biggest sources.
I'll use dems as a bandage while we work towards a real cure.
