Nigeria is a poor country that COULD be wealthy. We need to acknowledge our poverty first. Perhaps then we’ll start doing what’s necessary to change it. And please, corruption doesn’t negate the fact that the government can’t meet all our basic needs with the resources it currently has. Corrupt government officials need to be held accountable, but we also need to be serious about our own reality.
