Call the Mayor and let him know that there must be a clear commitment to defund the police by a MINIMUM of 10% and to reinvest that money into community-led policing alternatives.

The Conservatives privatized it. Mike Harris became CEO of the biggest company, paid millions. And they eliminated regulations and inspections. Perhaps Conservative ideas and actions are the problem.

Brilliant: Newcastle, UK, releases a ‘pro-city’ plan to create a walking and cycling network to connect every school, to every park, to every local shopping center. Culling parking from the streetscape is one of the key ways they are going to do it.

Prime Minister @JustinTrudeau, just a reminder: not all families are heterosexual. So in referencing #MothersDay to children during your #COVID19 pressers please speak of parents instead of exclusive 'mom & dad' references that erase #LGBTQ families and moms. #COVID19

Blockades have been up 2 weeks. CN Rail announced last November they were going to start cutting 1,600 jobs. RCMP are currently checked into a hotel by Tyendinaga. Just waiting. And CN Rail announces this now? Why are no journalists pushing against this corporate narrative?

1/3 Okay! So about the Star cuts to the Ent department - it's devastating, and I agree, shortsighted. To the theatre artists who have reached out, thank you for your concern. But as freelancers (thankfully, in this case), @KarenFricker2 & I are continuing our theatre coverage...
