twenty turmoil turbulent tempest
has tossed and turned my voyage
I know not where
my boat shall sail
all I know is,
I still want to row my boat
while continuing to pray
that at its final stopping point
I will meet you,
as you insist
on making your way toward me

The streets are full of ghosts, wandering aimlessly. On the rooftop Amuletto spied the Inn of Lost Souls, perched on the edge of Brecon Pass where rhapsodic strokes #travel outwards in a Serpentine rhythm. He crossed the barrier perched on a floating melody

Chapter 22 Macy and the Devilland
Previous Summary:
Ugly Octopus claims that his resilience skill was taught to him by Macy's dad. Macy is shocked! However, Macy and JoJo suddenly say, "Do we look like idiots?"
This Chapter:
Ugly Octopus says:
“You think I'm a pitiful old guy, begging you to learn my martial art. Thank you very much!
Yet I’m not.
Whether you learn it or not is up to you. I won't force you.
But mark my words—you'd benefit greatly from mastering resilience.
Alright, then! I'd better go home and sleep. I'm actually
exhausted."
Macy shouts: "Wait! I've just decided to learn it."
Ugly Octopus: “Don’t!!”

is all turbulent..
Calm touched its lower reaches,
clinging like ghost mist..
I hold off precipitation,
incongruent phase may break down like colloid..
Nothing unusual,
I #travel & traverse these layers often..
It's the horizon
of my split identity..

Casey Stengel slides home to complete his inside-the-park home run in Game 1 of the 1923 World Series at Yankee Stadium on October 10, 1923 — two outs in the top of the ninth, the score tied 4-4, when the New York Giants outfielder drove a full-count fastball from Bullet Joe Bush to the deepest part of left-center field, circled the bases with one shoe coming loose and beat the relay home for a 5-4 win.
The Yankees had led 3-0 before Heinie Groh's triple tied the game in the third and Joe Dugan's triple tied it again in the seventh; Babe Ruth never homered in the game, and in the fifth he was thrown out at the plate trying to steamroll Giants catcher Frank Snyder. Stengel's drive was the first World Series home run ever hit at Yankee Stadium. Two days later he beat the Yankees again, homering off Sam Jones in the seventh for the only run of Art Nehf's 1-0 shutout in Game 3, then thumbing his nose at the Yankee bench and blowing kisses to the crowd as he circled the bases. Yankees owner Jacob Ruppert demanded a suspension, but Commissioner Kenesaw Mountain Landis refused, saying, "Casey Stengel just can't help being Casey Stengel." Stengel, a 33-year-old platoon outfielder, batted .417 for the Series — but the Yankees won it in six games for their first championship, taking Game 6 on October 15, 6-4, and a month later the Giants traded Stengel to the Boston Braves.
Baseball mostly remembered the clown. Stengel managed Brooklyn and Boston through nine second-division seasons in the 1930s and '40s before the Yankees hired the man who had beaten them — and from 1949 through 1960, back in the same ballpark, he won 10 pennants and seven World Series titles as their manager.

A Handful of Snow Before the End
I wanted to do nothing.
I didn't even notice
who passed me along the way.
Faces dissolved into shadows,
footsteps drowned beneath the silence,
and another day died
without asking me to stay.
It turns out,
there wasn't much wrong with the world—
perhaps I was simply alone
along a road
where nobody knew my name.
But tell me,
haven't I wandered before?
Haven't I drifted like a broken leaf,
carried by winds
that never cared where I would fall?
Must I pretend
this is the first time I've been lost?
If I am to live,
then let me forget the past.
Bury those years beneath the snow,
cover their names with frozen earth,
and leave no footprints
for the ghosts to follow.
They say it is simple:
just take your medicine,
like grabbing a handful of snow
and watching it melt in water.
Drink it all in one gulp.

Footprints on the grave
one way, tiptoe, reluctant..
A promised visit,
half buried kiss
tied to the other end
of a story that lived on..
I sat in wait
on the other side
one way, reluctant, tongue tied..
I forgot,
which world is mine
whether you came
or left
reluctant, absent.!
