Might have gone under the radar - but unbelievable that the government 'timed out' a vote on an amendment to the Economic Crime Bill aimed at supporting enforcement agencies going after economic criminals.
There're an estimated 3.7m incidents of fraud experienced by adults aged 16 and over in the year ending Sept 2022 - approximately 41% of estimated crime!
Another injustice - time for change

Suella Braverman’s parents emigrated (those horrible economic migrants not from a war zone she hates).
She went to Cambridge for free and didn’t collect £27k debt like everyone else. Scrounger.
She used the Erasmus scheme to study in France. Which she has blocked.
Horrible.

When your party is so despised and disgraced that you have to omit your party name and colours from your leaflets…
Interesting collage of Tory leaflets that look like the Green Party’s, with no mention of “Conservative” on them HT @SpacesSteve

I’ve spotted a flaw in the strategy of making it easier to dismiss workers in industries where there are already crippling mass labour shortages.

In a very competitive field, this remains one of the most insane parts of how the government handled the pandemic.

Chancellor Jeremy Hunt handed £18bn tax cut to banks, but found no money to feed hungry children.
800,000 children denied free school meals because parents earn more than £7,400 a year.
