Hey all, I’m looking for some short-term contracts for development. This could be either in Ruby or AI-based solutions.
If you know of anyone looking for someone like me, please let me know.
Thanks!

If you are an early stage startup that can't afford to hire the wrong person to lead your enginnering efforts, please reach out to me.
I am not looking to fill an "engineering" role. I want to be the entrepreneur-minded pragmatist that happens to be know how to build apps.

time to fuck around and find out (and record my hours as records of damages inflicted)
It’s looking like my next #stimulusjs controller is going to replicate basic HTML form behavior using FormData and fetch 🧵
You see, my nifty #hotwire based component has its own forms, and it breaks when embedded inside an enclosing form because you can’t nest forms in HTML.

Git Tip: Running `git checkout -` changes to the previously accessed branch just like `cd -` changes to the previous directory. You can use it with other commands too such as `git rebase -` to rebase off of the previous branch.
Big shout-out to @[email protected] and @[email protected] . Tools like Railsbump and their free ebook on upgrading rails apps helped me along the way.

Just submitted my first Sublime Text package for publication! It's a custom Build Command for WSL2-based projects that makes it easy to define tasks designed to run in Linux.

Sublime has been my daily driver for the last decade. I've built up a healthy collection of commands, snippets, and custom syntaxes in my User package folder but this is the first time I've published anything. Feels good to be giving something back. 🥰
