Grass is always greener yada yada IMO India already has plenty festival breaks 😂 After May this year the next public holiday i am getting is December. The one in October fell on a Saturday and we dont even get compensated off.

Indians deserve at least one long festival break a year, like western countries have for Thanksgiving and Christmas. A one day holiday for Diwali just doesn't make sense, especially for those travelling to their hometowns.
