Coyle has played well this season. He's done nothing but improve. His one on one defending can be poor and critisicm of that can be fair. He rightfully gets preferential treatment as a cracking captain who plays a massive role thats different to others.
Trust Sergej!

What a run itās been and thatās some character to fight back the way we did in the 2nd half. After a tough first half some teams would crumble - we left thinking we couldāve gotten more. October, to me, is when the season really starts for us, and weāve got a head start! #hcafc
Days like today are what itās all about. Hope all the travelling tigers have a cracker win, lose or draw! #hcafc
Herrington and Vaz are 18 and 19 btw. Future is bright.
Some good and some not so good tonight.
Good minutes for some new players - letās not judge yet, long way until players are up to speed and many will have to earn their way in regardless. UTT. #hcafc
Big fan. #hcafc
Putting Hull on the global stage.

Do not want to speak too soon, but is this the best time to ever have been a City supporter, all things considered? The whole club just seems to āget itā. #hcafc
Any detail available on these sell on clauses anywhere? Weāve bought players with real upside - Iād love to know how much of that % we stand to see if they reach their potential.
Young Greek player for example. If he goes for Ā£50m int he future - do we actually make much? #hcafc
What an incredible time to be a #hcafc fan. Weāre playing real life Football Manager, in the most positive sense.
Wonderkids + proven experience- all in sensible deals whilst keeping a great core of players who āgot us thereā.
Thank you @acunilicali for giving us our club back.
Thatās a great run out for everyone there, brilliant to get to the next round of the cut and possibly more importantly, everyone from a gruelling effort on Saturday rested. Great nights work. UTT. #hcafc
Itās worth noting, whilst we start a journey of hopefully proving everyone outside of Hull City wrong. I really hope some fans also appreciate Lewis Coyle doing the same. He was brilliant today and so often has been for this club š #hcafc
Really want to say how good X or Y was today. But my god. How good was every. Single. One of them!! COME ON!! #hcafc
Are we ready for the season? No
Will we be much more prepared at the end of the window? Yes
People are right to be optimistic and pessimistic for both at the same time.
Ultimately, every point in the premier league will be massive for #hcafc and we arenāt helping ourselvesā¦
I believe the #hcafc recruitment team will be happy with the work theyāve done once all said and done and I back them to do that. But none of us can get away from the fact that we simply cannot afford to be short for a single game in this campaignā¦ itās going to be hard enough.
#hcafc can field a decent XI this week, but if someoneās down in the first 10, we are in trouble, which we then are for the following games.
Fans arenāt wrong to be concerned but we do need perspective - the recruitment team have a HUGE job to do and canāt risk our clubs future
