BREAKING: SpaceX wins FCC approval for its 15,000-satellite Direct-to-Cell constellation.
The order also includes a conditional U.S. waiver of satellite power limits, advancing SpaceX’s push to expand mobile coverage beyond the reach of cell towers.

New images captured by SMILE, a joint mission between ESA and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, show the entire auroral oval surrounding Earth’s North Pole in ultraviolet light, a global view that has not been seen in this way for around 18 years.
The video also shows the ring becoming brighter during a geomagnetic substorm, when stored energy in the magnetosphere is suddenly released and particles are accelerated toward the polar regions.
As these particles enter the upper atmosphere, they excite atmospheric gases and produce the auroral glow.
Observing the aurora from space makes it possible to study it as a complete, dynamic structure rather than only from individual locations on the ground.

I also added additional input sources to didahSDR, including support for KiwiSDR receivers and your local sound card. The goal is to support devices such as the SoftRock RTX and RTL-SDR.

I added a neural CW decoder to didahSDR 😀
The results are still far from matching the trained ear of a CW operator, but it's good progress!
ARRL Contest replay still available here for a couple of days: didahsdr.guenael.ca/
