I suggested to the tour that they get a a range of balls with a spectrum of colours (dark blue, light blue, black etc) and get the players in Monte Carlo to test them as so many live there. When the court is dry it’s virtually impossible to see it especially on a phone. Nothing has been experimented with as far as I know and I suggested it pre-Covid
#DavidAttenborough was the controller at BBC Two during Wimbledon before he became a legend. He was the reason the ball went from white to yellow because he couldn’t see it. We should learn from history and change the colour of the ball on clay 💯 the optics of blue clay were amazing (even if the movement wasn’t:-) – at Los Angeles, CA
